We booked and stayed here on impulse as we fancied a night away. The room, staff, food, facilities and view were amazing. This is definitely our new favourite place to stay and we will certainly be back soon.
Absolutely beautiful hotel! Great facilities including indoor and outdoor pool with steam room and jacuzzi. Staff were very attentive and happy, always helpful! Very impressed. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Great sea views. Only downside was the fan didn’t work in the bathroom and the tap was really loud. Otherwise can’t fault the place. Definitely want to stay again!
Excellent hotel in superb location overlooking Woolacombe Bay. Lovely room with comfortable terrace/balcony ideal for a short relaxing stay. Staff all helpful and friendly. Convenient personally named parking allocated near to the entrance to assist with mobility issues. Breakfast was good selection of juices, fruits, cereals and pastries with freshly cooked hot items included. Dining room menus also provided good selection of well presented and tasty meals. Only criticism was a very poor quality expensive sandwich one lunch time. Would definitely go back to this hotel but may not order lunchtime sandwich. Overall first class experience.
The good points were the service from the staff, the cleanliness of our room, and the location of the hotel. Less good was the lack of a safe in our room, the bedside lamp which was faulty and not replaced whilst we were there, and the eye wateringly expense of the charges. Any tea, coffee or extra snacks taken outside our room was charged heavily, and then VAT was added on. It isn't cheaper to book directly with the hotel. Go through last minute, or booking.com Have stayed in hotels around the country and that was the dearest!
A wonderful relaxing environment with charming and helpful international staff. They were courteous, friendly and attentive. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated and our double room with stunning sea view was a treat. The food was excellent and obvious care was taken in presentation too.The facilities enabled us to chill on the balcony and unwind with a book in the comfy lounge.Breakfast hit the spot, eaten in the restaurant with spectacular sea and coastal views.Dinner in the Bistro ended the days perfectly. The fresh fish of the day was expertly cooked. Our first visit as residents but not our last.
