Had a long weekend stay on the last weekend before lockdown. The chalet we had was lovely and in a good spot. It was clean and cosy. The only down side was that being a four berth chalet there was only four of each of the cutlery, crockery and glasses, so it meant washing up all the time rather than using the dishwasher. The main reason for writing this review was the entertainment which was really excellent particularly the Pirate Show on friday and the Midnight Porters on the Saturday. The Bowling alley was good too (I haven't done that in years). The covid rules were very good and adhered to except for the firework display where we were shepherded to the grassed area where you couldn't keep a social distance. All in all it was a great weekend.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. It is excellent to read you had a lovely stay where the entertainments team and their performances during your weekend break proved to be a particular highlight for you; they work tirelessly to provide memorable; family fun and they will be delighted to read your kind words. Your feedback is thoroughly appreciated and will be considered when planning future developments for our Park. We are sorry to learn you did not feel that the road closure and grass spectating area a safe distance away from the firework display were not entirely to your liking with regards social distancing; our risk assessments prior to the event were thoroughly carried out and an area as large as possible was provided for our guests to still enjoy the fireworks whilst adhering to Government guidelines. Our only aim is to provide a holiday that exceeds your expectations, and we welcome your feedback to help us improve where we can. We very much hope to welcome you and your family back to our Parks in 2021 for another fun filled family break in Woolacombe. Orinta Pav – General Manager

So our first trip to this holiday park and our first proper holiday in 2 years. Our caravan was scrupulously clean and well stocked with equipment and a very comfy bed! The holiday village was well organised in light of the Covid 19 restrictions .. all the public areas ... bar restaurant toilets arcades etc was extremely clean and regular cleaning was in place .. around the park was plenty of hand sanitiser Units and always full.. Staff were friendly and helpful . Really impressed .. However a few negatives which did bring my review rating lower... despite our caravan being incredibly clean as we walked into it the smell of fish was overbearing! Previous holiday maker cooked fish perhaps!? I don’t know but it was very off putting! And in the whole of the park there was hundreds of caravans.. and ours had to be the only one with difficult vehicle access , under a tree so with all the rain and wind we had the noise at night from branches hitting the caravan And constant dripping meant many disturbed nights sleep.. and no internet connection or signal to even send a text message.. so to access the essential Woolacombe App to book things like swimming I had to venture outside and look for a signal .. not pleasant In the rain.. the fencing had been damaged so temporarily some railings had been put in place .. and finally the caravan had damp issues which I discovered over half way into our holiday when I woke up with a wet pillow on a few mornings... and a feeling of dampness on our clothes hanging in the wardrobe.. maybe the rear of the caravan being parked against a concrete wall /bank didn’t help in this matter? After some closer inspection mould spots along the skirting board and behind the bed could be seen.. So overall a great holiday and just what we needed despite the weather but these negative points I felt I had to raise .. so although I put 4 stars .. very good this is down to cleanliness of the place .. i would put 3 .. average.. for the caravan issues .

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. It is excellent to read you were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of your Holiday Home, the Park and its facilities. Our team will feel so rewarded to read your kind words about them, they have worked so hard to provide you with the very best holiday experience as possible given the challenging conditions this year. Your feedback relating to the location of your holiday home and maintenance issue has been noted and will be discussed with our team to rectify any issues found. The rural location of our Park does mean that phone signal can be intermittent however WiFi should be working in all locations across the Park. I do hope that you reported this to us and we were able to resolve the issue during your stay. We do hope you will return to our four award winning Parks in 2021 and we look forward to providing you with a warm welcome upon your return. Orinta Pav – General Manager

Stayed here during Covid times and the park made sure that their guests were safe. Staff were brilliant, lodge was fantastic, grounds are lovely and it was in a great location for visits elsewhere. Would definitely return.

This is the 7th visit we have had to Golden Coast and as expected we had a fantastic time! We have never before visited in the cold season but decided to treat ourselves to a weekend away to break up the last bit of the year. We stayed in a 3 bed New Wave caravan this time in Cleavewood (we have only ever stayed in lodges previously) and it was fantastic! The location, the cleanliness, the space and so lovely and cosy on a cold day, we have already booked for next October! I only have a couple of minor niggles- 1. Social distancing in the arcade on Sunday night was non existent. The usual man (who is wonderful!) was in the bowling and there just seemed to be more and more people coming in. We did decide to leave as you literally couldn’t move. 2. When we arrived on Friday we tried to book bowling (we had pre purchased 4 vouchers) and there was no availability until the Tuesday, no good as we left on the Monday 3. And I lost count of how many times we heard ‘oh sorry it’s nearly the end of the season’ so limited availability on things. The slushes, the prize shop, food at The Old Mill etc All in all we had a fantastic time as always, amazing place and would always recommend you to anyone. Thanks again x

Thank you for taking the time to post your lovely review. As ever, it is excellent to read your reviews and how much you and your family love our Park. We are absolutely committed to providing the very best holiday experience and so your feedback is thoroughly appreciated and will be used to help us keep getting better at what we love to do here. As we do come to the end of the season, some products may be unavailable and we reflect that things aren't as "full-on" like in other holidays such as Easter, May half term and the Summer Holidays in our holiday prices. Kelly and family, we can’t wait to see you in 2021. Thank you once more for joining us this year, for your review and we will welcome you back again soon. Orinta Pav – General Manager
