We stayed in Rosemary cottage and had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We received a warm welcome, the cottage was spotless and very well equipped, providing everything that we needed. The wifi worked really well and we had good mobile signal on site. Guests have access to a large garden, with lots of space for children to let off steam! The games room is really well equipped, with something for all ages! We found this a good location for travelling to lots of places during our stay and found good pub/restaurants to eat locally. We look forward to visiting again soon!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped. We loved the peace and quiet of the area, and the opportunity to sit in the beautiful gardens. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

We stayed in Maple Cottage. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The cottage was attractively furnished and decorated. We had everything we needed. There is a lovely garden for use by all the cottages The location was brilliant, surrounded by farmland and a small village. It was very accessible but on a no through road, no noise or traffic. Lots of footpaths straight from the door, so great for walking. The coast about a mile a half away is stunning. Nearby Bridport is a great little town with lots of individual shops. The owners were helpful. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Vikki & Martin have understood what it takes to keep the customers satisfied, after a week in Jasmine we have nothing but positive views of the place. We had Jasmine for a week, lovely paved area in front to enjoy a drink in the sun, and in our case chat with the lovely neighbours we had. There is a lovely gated garden to relax in, and a games room if you need to release some energy. Cottage was spotless and very well equipped. Bed, bed linen, and towels all of a standard you would find in a very good hotel. A 25 minute walk across the fields to the pub at Chideock, if you have a large dog there is one stile towards the manor house you'll have to lift over, or three stiles if you go via the castle ruins. Most stiles we found in Dorset only catered for smaller dogs, but around Chideock many of the farm gates are not locked. One review mentioned patchy internet - have to say that we never experienced that and it was faster than the old BT copper we had until a few months back.

After cancelling & rebooking & with the help of Vicky (the new owner) due to my wifes hospital appointments finally we got away on 12th June for six nights. We booked the studio again, great for two people. We had good weather lovely to get away. We met the new owners Vicky & Martin lovely people, they made sure everything was good for us. We are going back this Christmas with our Daughter son in law & grandson plus Harley the dog staying in Jasmine had to cancel last year. Cant wait.

Stayed at Hell barn last christmas in Jasmine cottage with our daughter, son in law & grandson plus the dog, had a wonderful time. This October my wife & i decided to return so we rented the studio cottage, glad we did. Its got all the amenities you would want for two people, we were quite impressed. We have booked again for christmas 2020 in Jasmine, this christmas all the family are invited to our other daughters. There are plenty of places to visit in the area even in winter.

I can't praise Hell Barn Cottages enough. I had one of the nicest holidays I've ever had here over Easter. The cottages are perfectly located just outside the village of Chideock, in deep countryside at the bottom of the impressive ancient holloway Hell Lane (which leads to the lovely village of Symondsbury), only a mile or so from the lovely beach of Seatown, and a mere 3 miles from the large town of Bridport. Even if you don't drive like me, all these places are within walking or bus distance. I stayed in the Studio, which was really thoughtfully equipped, pristine and nicely decorated. As a guest you have use of the sweeping garden, and the excellent games room. You also have the option of booking a fabulous Japanese meal cooked by the owner, Shige. He and his wife were the perfect hosts, very kind and helpful yet unobtrusive. In the village of Chideock you have a choice of two pubs and a well-stocked village shop. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely quiet location, welcoming friendly hosts, great accommodation, easy walk into Chideock and on to the beach at Seatown. Highly recommend the Japanese meal, we had Tempura option, substantial portions of seafood (monkfish, salmon, scallops, prawns) and veggies, all the trimmings, tasty!

We are just driving home from a fantastic stay in jasmine cottage. Really quick communication with the owners from the minute we booked it and welcome on arrival. Lovely starter pack left in the kitchen of bread, milk, tea and biscuits. Lovely and clean. Warm open living space and clean airy bedrooms surrounded in the heart of Dorset countryside. We have walked lots despite the mud! Close to the George pub in Chideock (that do great oven pizzas on a Thursday) and Seatown Beach with another great pub the Anchor. Great open garden and games room with new equipment. We also had just an amazing Japanese meal made by the owners Saturday. Beautiful food, all brought in beautiful authentic bowls and chopsticks and all collected again afterwards was a real treat and experience. We shall be back. very well equipped cottage and very reasonable pricing. Thank you so much
