Travellers' Choice
A family-run campsite, on a working farm near Corfe Castle, in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck. We have 3 adjacent level grass fields, with electric hook up, with an additional large grass field for non- electric pitches. This site is rural and may be less suitable for those seeking ready-made entertainment. We are a family site and welcome dogs. Campsite open from 1 March-31 Oct (weather permitting). We are set back from the main road (A351), but with easy access. Onsite facilities include flush toilets and chemical disposal points, private hot showers and wash basins, family room, disabled toilets and wet room, separate laundry and washing-up rooms, playground & ball games area. Campfires permitted. Wifi available. Norden House is an on site self- catering holiday let that sleeps up to 14 guests. We also have a farm cottage of the same nature that sleeps 4. There is a comprehensive farm shop on site, well- stocked with camping essentials, general groceries and loads of local goodies.

Love staying at Norden Farm with our grandchildren and felt very privileged to be able to stay for their final weekend before closing for the winter despite the dreadful weather. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the facilities are first class and so easy to walk to Corfe Castle or get a bus from the main road. The grandchildren love the play areas, visiting the animals and being able to ride their bikes. Plus staying in the campervan with their Nanna and Popsy. Can’t wait for you to open again next year when we will be visiting again on numerous occasions 🤩🤩

First night was a concern as most campers were in bed between 7-8 pm. Following day spoke to camp manager as to understand acceptable noise levels given literature stated radios / music off at 11pm. Explained we are avid rugby fans and wanted to view rugby at 8pm via our projector, was told: “its exactly your kind of people we avoid having on the camp”. Our stay of six days consisted of daily harassment about very petty matters, i.e.: small dog sleeping not on a leash. I and our group were made to feel unwelcome with noise from the management accommodation starting at 8am with angle grinders etc, their dogs roaming free too. Felt like being on a concentration camp with patronising, insulting and rude management / staff. We will never book accommodation or use said facilities again. Be warned: Terrible hospitality with little regard to applying the “rules” to themselves, accusing our group of stealing funds as they had not booked late checkout despite every person paying the extra £10 fee to checkout by 6pm. Some had packed up camp completely, remained for breakfast before departing but were accused of cheating the system, absolutely atrocious / reprehensible behaviour from management. Staff coming round to harass us at 11am as to why were were still on out pitch and must leave, this after we all paid the £10 fee for late checkout, poor communication and communication as a whole. Said staff could have enquired first instead of accusing one of overstaying.

Couldn't fault. All new amenities, great farm shop/village store onsite with a brilliant pub across the road. Unfortunately we were only there for the one night but I would highly recommend. Fantastic views

Great place for couples and in particular families. Kids would love the farm animals and large play area, and during summer season Wednesday and Friday entertainment. We didn't experience the latter but my family did in July. Kids loved it.

I’m sure this could be a nice place in perfect weather but the grass pitches don’t drain adequately and we were allocated a pitch that had very little grass remaining and overused during the season had led to most pitches sinking below the level of the main field. Leading to significant standing water on the majority of pitches. The pitches were so boggy we couldn’t even drive our camper van to park on the pitch and had to be rescued with a tractor. When we went to the office they offered an alternative pitch (without leaving the comfort of the warm office). The alternative pitch was even deeper with standing water. With no viable options to pitch we had to depart and drive home. Whilst I understand the site is not obliged to provide a refund or credit for a future visit. It was disappointing that in this scenario nothing more than best wishes were offered. In the short space of time that we were there we also noted that there were a few maintenance issues in the facilities with a sink out of use, broken soap dispenser and hand dryer not working.

Good location for the steam train, walk into Corfe castle (watch out for the nettles on the path) or bus to swanage /wareham. Pitches were quite muddy even though the weather had been dry. Grass very worn in places. Pitches felt very packed in. Facilities were good on site - clean toilets and showers, good chemical Elsa point and great farm shop.

Well what can I say? Best campsite we have ever stayed at. We had 5 nights on their non-electric Top Field which is a pitch-where-you-want flat field with stunning views. We watched the sheep, goats & alpaca roaming the field and listened to the owls at night. This campsite have thought of everything! Fridges & freezers if you need them, secure phone charging stations, huge shower and toilet blocks which were spotless, a covered washing up area, plus plenty of refuse and recycling bins. The Spotted Pig food hut was open Friday evening until Sunday morning and sells reasonably priced good breakfast and evening food by a lovely couple (opening times vary throughout the year I believe). On top of this they've added lovely unique areas of interest including a bug hotel and bee friendly wild flower garden around the fishing lake. There is helpful signage everywhere, the staff are just so lovely and the farm shop is huge and stocked with everything you could need! We were 2 adults and 1 dog (there are helpfully dog poo bins everywhere!) and it was great to enjoy the peace and quiet as the kids had gone back to school! All in all, an amazing stay, we totally switched off from work and will definitely visit again next year!

A fantastic campsite - probably the best we’ve ever stayed at. Location is amazing and facilities are fabulous. Clean showers and toilets with lots of hot water and a brilliant shop. You can walk to the beautiful Corfe Castle or you have a short drive to Wareham and Studland. Studland beach is amazing.

Well laid out with different sections which gives it a much better feel. Two facilities blocks. Great showers with good pressure and just on off switch. Spacious grassed pitches with lots of space in between. Lovely views and atmosphere. You’re not going to find a site much better than this if you have a campervan. There is an extensive farm shop and garden shop. Peacocks and hens roam freely. The opening hours are very friendly 0830 to 1800. There is cooked food available to buy Fri sat sun peak season.
