Just returned from a 5 day stay at the bunker on a climbing trip, I will definately be going back. Sally and Tony are very welcoming and are fantstic hosts, the breakfasts and packed-lunches are superb and certainly set you up for the day. The bunk rooms are on the small side but this is easily compensated for by a comfortable lounge area with TV (if you want it). The rooms, showers, toilet facilities are kept very clean and are a credit to the owners. The building and rooms are made safe and secure which is reassuring and helped to create a relaxing holiday. If you want well placed value for money accomodation on the Isle of Portland then I can't think of any better place to go.

We stayed here the first week after Covid19 restrictions were relaxed. Sally & Tony were fabulous hosts who have implemented simple changes to keep everyone safe. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided great advice on climbing venues when the weather was changeable. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again 🙂

I stayed here in March 2020 just before lock-down and was straight back here the day it reopened July 4th. The mattresses are very comfy - perfect after a hard day of climbing, the owners are friendly and accommodating, the rooms and shared spaces are very clean and tidy. The location is excellent and value for money is unbeatable. Would 100% recommend and I will be visiting again.

I've been going to the Bunker for nearly 15 years since I was a teenager. Going there is something I always look forwards as it has a special place in my heart. Recently there has been new management and they are great. Tony and Sally are very friendly and make me feel welcome. I will be coming back and would recommend my friends to stay here :)
