Fantastic holiday lodges

We’ve been staying here for a week late in the year for the last few years and absolutely love it. Lodges are well kept, clean and well equipped. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good food at the club/bar. Will be going back again next year.

Kingfisher Lodge 24

Our lodge situated on Osmington Holiday Park was perfect. We booked Kingfisher 24 as a dog friendly lodge in order that we could bring our little Boston Terrier with us. The site itself is situated down a country lane,nestled between the hills and literally 5 minutes walk from the Coastal Path.Its quiet, clean and has great facilities and very friendly staff. On site is a swimming pool ( sadly closed the day before we arrived) ,gym and club /restaurant.The club is lovely, food is to a high standard ( fine dining on Thursdays) and is also dog friendly. Our lodge was great ! 2 bedrooms, one en suite, also a family bathroom with a bath. Well eqipped kitchen,comfortable lounge / dining room.Free wifi. Beds were lovely, quality bedding ,pillows and we slept really well We loved our stay in Osmington,loved our lodge and found that the park fulfilled all of our wants for a perfect short break. Hope to return next year.…

Hello alison l Thank you for your lovely review of our park. We are delighted to hear that you had such a lovely stay with us! Sorry that you were disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed. We normally close the first weekend in September but managed to keep it open for another week, however it was becoming a little chilly! Its great that you sampled some of Dorset Fine Dining's delicious food! I will pass your lovely feedback onto Nick the head chef. They are with us Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and also Sunday lunchtime for a yummy roast. We would love to welcome you back in 2021! Warm regards Lesley

Life Savers..........

We were holidaying in Weymouth last week (wc 14th Sept 2020) and decided to walk to Osmington Mills to visit a pub. We had taken a look at the pub the evening before on the way past, all the tables were taken and it was very busy. On the day of our walk it was 27 degrees and after 5 miles up hill and down dale we got there and were somewhat de-hydrated. The pub turned us away without asking whether we wanted to eat or just drinks - although nowhere near as busy as the evening before. We noticed the holiday park just up the lane and popped in to ask if they could fill our water bottles - the staff there were absolutely lovely and allowed us to use their lounge bar facilities where we had cold drinks, a pot of tea and sat by their swimming pool. The staff could not have been nicer and were life savers. It was a really lovely place, everywhere was immaculate. Thank you to all the staff.…

Another great stay.

Had another great week at Osmington. Facilities were great, loved the pool. The chalet was clean, modern and spacious. Loved the addition of free wifi since last year, it enabled us to take our firestick and stream box sets of an evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and reasonability priced. Thank you.

Kingfisher lodge 12

I would jus like to warn people that are thinking of booking kingfisher lodge 12, be aware we booked 6 wks in advance and paid in full for a stay here and the owner cancelled our holiday 4 days before we was due to go and stay!!
