This is the best place to stay with your dog, Sandra and Simon are fantastic hosts, along with Henry and Bertie, we have stayed 3 times and will be back again. There are some many good walks and dog friendly pubs. The stable loft has everything you need. Very peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Stayed for 3 nights in the relatively new converted loft, small but beautifully put together as they say. Used it as a base for 2 days at the Great Dorset Steam fair (about 16 miles away through some delightful countryside) and comparable price wise with staying at a Premiere or similar, BUT with the advantage of peace and quiet, and... We stayed for three nights in the comfortable and cosy attached cottage. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors. When visiting the area again I wouldn't hesitate in re-booking.

We spent a week in the one bedroomed Old Bakery Cottage (another self contained unit and B&B rooms are also available) The cottage was perfect for us. Beautifully furnished and decorated, comfortable and quiet. The location is great for days out to the Dorset coast and pretty villages as well as to towns like Sherborne and Glastonbury. The views and... More

My Wife, new-born Son and I stayed here for 3 nights in the self-catering cottage and found it to be both a cosy and charming cottage, ideal for the 3 of us. The owners, Simon & Sandra, were lovely and great to chat with, and their dogs were an absolute delight, even around our 4 month old Son. The accommodation... More

This is one of the best B&Bs we've experienced. Sandra and Simon make you feel immediately welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and we especially enjoyed the delicious sausages and homebaked bread with locally made preserves. The White Room was very comfortable and the guest sitting room is a lovely place to enjoy a cup of tea. A pub and village shop... More

We booked this at the very last minute after our canal boat broke down and stayed for three nights mid Sept 2015. Sandra and Simon are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. Their knowledge of the area and places to visit/eat out is second to none. The white bedroom was very comfortable and breakfast superb. Thank-you.

Our sixth visit in the last eight years. The usual fabulous welcome from Sandra and Simon, Henry (black lab) and Bertie (Spaniel). Our dog Scooby knew straight away where we were and settled in immediately. As usual, the accommodation and food were second to none. We met an interesting mix of people and really felt at home. We shall be... More

Welcoming hosts, excellent location and facilities (pub, shop, café all within easy walking distance), homely environment, plenty of longer walks direct from the house with help from an OS map thoughtfully provided by our hosts. Fresh flowers in our beautifully decorated room, tea and biscuits on the sunny patio in the afternoon, and the most delicious Full English Breakfast each... More

Very clean tidy and dog friendly, there was tea coffee homemade bead, marmalade and more waiting for your arrival. Hosts Sandra & Simon were very pleasant and at hand and very knowledgeable of the area. Nothing seem to much trouble. Would recommend and will be returning ourselves. Paul, Lyn & Mimi the Schnauzer
