Travellers' Choice
Set in 3 1/2 acres of elegant gardens, which were once wild and overgrown shrub land, we provide accommodation in forty three really great standard bedrooms. We also have six spaces (we hate the words 'conference' & 'banqueting') which are well equipped, with lots of natural light and more than you would expect from a good standard venue. Not to forget our lovely space that we use for our Restaurant which has personality in plenty. Get in touch, we would love to hear from you. Full Breakfast Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 10:00am Full Breakfast Saturday - Sunday: 8.00am - 10.00am

My mum and dad stayed here at this hotel on the 17th January for two nights ( for hospital appointments before the covid police start) My dad unfortunately passed away the first night, despite my mum ringing reception several times for some assistance, obviously. Nobody came, despite it being a 24 hour reception service, helpful NOT. The hotel management told my uncle who went to collect my mother from the hotel on the 18th they would refund a night stay, as obviously she had only stayed the 17th and then had to leave. The management have been nothing but rude and unhelpful when we have rang asking for our refund. Disgusting. Do not recommend.

We had our small wedding at Lazzats, it was absolutely beautiful, the whole day was amazing from start to finish, the staff was so helpful and made everything perfect. Myself and my husband plus our guests couldn’t of asked for anything better. I would highly recommend Lazzats to hold your wedding, when we are allowed we’re going to book a party for all the guests who couldn’t attend on our special day we are looking forward to this because we know that our event will be as perfect as our wedding day x The food was beautiful , we also had an overnight stay afterwards, our room stunning, to our surprise we had a lovely cooked breakfast brought up to our room. Weddings at Lazzats are a must :-) x

Congratulations !! Thank you for the 5 star review and recommendation to future couples. As a venue that specialises in Weddings it was nice for the team to get back to doing what they do best. Your review has been shared with all those who helped with the planning beforehand and the service on the day. Thank you for taking the time to post your review, we look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the future.

After postponing our wedding due to lockdown in April we moved it to September 2020 - Lazaats could not have been more accommodating and did everything they could to adapt to our new much smaller (30 people limit) wedding. We held our ceremony and reception/wedding breakfast here and the majority of guests stayed overnight too. Even with social distancing restrictions in place we could not have asked for a better day! So thank you on behalf of me and my new husband! I am so glad we chose to still go ahead with our special day and could not have chosen a better venue it was perfect for us!

I stayed there a year ago as a convenient place on a long journey and it was fine. Now (October 2020) it is seems to be a hostel for NHS staff. That’s okay but it shouldn’t be open as a hotel at the same time. Room and shower need deep clean. Entrance stairwell desperately needs a serious vacuum. Everywhere in the hotel needs deep clean and renovation. The breakfast buffet was about a quarter of the choices a year ago and although the waiter was pleasant enough it was a hard job to catch him for anything you needed. There was nobody else around. He kept disappearing. The bowls were all badly washed/dirty and I had to ask for cutlery. The tea was not hot. The bed linen, pillows and duvet are all old and need replacing. The corridor outside my room had a big mat which was pushed roughly up against the wall. My room overlooked a yard full of shipping containers and rubbish bins and flies kept coming in through the window. Need I go on?
