Lovely apartment with a stunning view directly to the sea. Huge living room with a large area for dining. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, including dishwasher and washer-dryer (and nine egg cups!). A very comfortable spot and we would love to return.

Spoiler alert: I'm related to the owner, but luckily there is no six-star option to tempt my bias.

This was my first visit and I was thoroughly impressed despite the uncooperative January weather. Our apartment, #4, was warm and comfortable and we made use of many of the little extra touches like the selection of DVD movies, the tasty treats in the welcome basket, the washing machine, the comprehensive kitchen equipment etc, etc.

The rooms were spacious, the bedroom cosy, and the I was completely comfortable on the pull out bed in the living room (bonus: I left the curtains open and awoke to THAT view). The bathroom (and everywhere else) was cleaner than in many five-star hotels. The large shower with its impressive flow was hard to leave on a cold and windy day.

I loved the "conservatory" portion of the living room which brings the amazing view right into the apartment. Even the hillside views from the rear of the property are impressive by themselves but I didn't have time to play on the jungle gym. The peace and quiet was serene.

There are few vacation properties with so many top ratings so you don't need my recommendation to stay here but, if you do, tell Julie that her uncle sent you. I'll be back as often as possible!

Spent four nights in apartment 5 and had a really lovely time, will definately go back! The view from the living room of the apartment is incredible, right down into the bay and across to Scotland too! There is a huge window so you could really enjoy it, it was lovely to sit and look out and watch the sunset in the evenings. The apartment was clean and well looked after, with everything we needed, and they had given us a 'welcome package' with local bread, milk, crisps and other treats in it which was a lovely touch. There was a big bedroom, a smaller bunkbed room, a galley kitchen and a large dining and living area with that gorgeous view to look at. We were very impressed by the location as it is just 5 mins walk from the beach and also just across the road from the slipway which was good for launching our paddleboards and we also loved the fact they have a mini playpark on site, perfect for our toddler and very safe for him to play in while we loaded the car etc. Great place to stay if you have young children as it feels very safe and they were able to supply us with a travel cot, highchair and also bed guard for our toddler's bed too. He had a great time between playing at the park and the beach! Carnfunnock is very close (10 mins drive) and has an amazing playpark for children which was great, they have loads of other stuff on like crazygolf and things but sadly closed due to Covid when we were there. Glenarm also is 10mins away and has a great wee restaurant and lovely walled gardens to explore. We really enjoyed our stay in Ballygally and will definitely be booking again!

My husband and I just returned after spending a week at the apartments and WOW the view was incredible. Right outside the main living area doors is the Irish Sea. Breathtaking is the only way to describe the coastal road the apartments sit on, peaceful calm snd utterly stunning. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment 3 and it was huge! The entire place was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in and it was obvious the management team took hours ensuring everything was spotless and Covid safe. Ballygally itself is small and can be explored on foot but it’s best to have a car to be able to travel further along the coast. Also, the local spar doesn’t have an alcohol license (the nearest place is 2-3 miles on coastal roads without a footpath!) there is a bus to nearby larne and then on to Belfast if you decide against a car but a taxi to either Belfast or the airports is only around £45. If you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing place to get away I strongly recommend taking a visit to BallyGally holiday apartments and wake up everyday to the sounds of the sea.

Thanks Julie and team for having us, we can’t wait to come back!!!

Having spent 25 years staying in self catering accommodation I can now say I have stayed in Simply The Best! The owner Julie Campbell could not have done enough for us ! We were a very last minute booking and Julie saved our holiday. The first thing you note on arrival is how clean the apartment is then you notice the amazing view across the bay to Scotland. The apartment sits on the edge of the sleepy village of Ballygally in County Antrim and is is close to the Glens of Antrim, The Causeway Coastal Route and Belfast is about half an hour away. There are seven apartments and each of them is fitted out to the same high standard. Nothing has been forgotten about. We were very impressed and we are already planning a return visit with friends in the very near future. 5 star quality!

Fabulous location on the coast overlooking the sea with amazing views from front windows, comfy beds, amenities in all rooms, free WiFi, free view TV, friendly owners, laundry and dry room, parking and heating all included. Couldn't ask for more, definitely would go back again. My parents stayed for 4 days but enough room for longer stays.

An amazing find. A spotlessly clean apartment with stunning views over Ballygally bay. The welcome box was a brilliant idea and meant we could have a bite to eat and a drink before we went food shopping in Ballygally. We felt very much at home and will definitely be back for another holiday here. Thanks to all the team.

Fantastic stay at Ballygally Holiday apartments. The accomodation far surpassed our estimatations - although it did look good and have good reviews. Julie the host / owner thinks of everything including a welcome basket of food items. The accomodation is very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The beds were really comfortable and better than many hotels i have stayed in. I would really recommend and we will be returning. Ballygally is a beautiful small town on the antrim coast road, itself one of the most stunning drives in the world and something everyone should see. The town is close enough to Belfast to make a comfortable day trip and also close enough to do the same for the Giants Causeway and other attractions. The beach is clean and well maintained also.

Every aspect of our stay lived up to the claims on the website. The accommodation was clean and welcoming and the view from apartment 5 were spectacular. These apartments are ideally located, with easy access to a local shop, beach and hotel. The beautiful Glens of Antrim were a joy to explore.

We have just returned from a six night stay in apartment 4. It was by far and away the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised on the website. Everything you could possibly need was provided including a welcome pack of goodies, particularly useful as we arrived late evening. We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed all the local tourist spots and nearby villages. The view from our lounge was idyllic over the sea, up the coast and across to Scotland. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone and will return in the not too distant future. ( July 2021 )
