We stayed in this hotel for three nights and found it to in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was too small for a more than average sized person and was not clean. The back of the door was splashed with toothpaste and there was a thick layer of duets along the skirting board. Nowhere to put or hang clothes and...

Dear Mrs Jones - Thank you for your review. On inspection of said room I take on board some of your points. We are re - decorating from 16th Jan for three weeks so are very aware of some of the failings. I must however point out a few incorrect points. The fire escape procedures are on the back of...

Very pleasant stay and nice surroundings, train station is about 3 minutes walk. I arrived about 5 and my keys were ready waiting for me and the room was most pleasing. Staff helpful and the breakfast in the morning lasted me almost all day.

Room fine for 3* but people first class throughout the 16 hours I was there. Food good, both at dinner and breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for the three ladies on duty. I was provided with a room for a private business meeting at no additional charge which was particularly well received.

We booked a table for four people at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. On arrival we were told that four dishes on the menu had either ran out or weren't ready to be served yet. This was disappointing as it really limited the options we had left. About 10 minutes after ordering, the waitress came back to tell two of...

We were given a room at the back of the hotel (stables). We were a bit dissapointed as the decor wasn't as we saw at the website, very plain & a bit worn out but the bed was very comfortable, clean room, enough to stay a night.

Overall - the staff were wonderful and accommodating and helpful, the hotel is ideally located in a very picturesque town, and the accommodations were very comfortable. This hotel is not comparable to luxury hotels so don't come expecting that. Come expecting a beautiful scene, kind hosts, and a comfortable room. The bed was a little on the soft side, but...

Nice quiet area. Lovely staff, especially a girl called Rachel. Food was good, fish batter not the best! Rooms nice and basic. But you do hear everything especially the rooms at the back of the courtyard. I would definitely go back again.

Travelling to the Highlands and we decided to break our journey in Aberdour, which is a lovely little village. The hotel is on the main road, and we have stayed here several times. This is a cosy, friendly family run hotel with rooms in either the main building or the old stable block across a small courtyard to the rear....

We took 8 rooms at the Aberdour hotel for a party of golfers who annually make the pilgrimage to Scotland to enjoy the fantastic courses there. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, the food and service excellent, and the staff warm, friendly and accommodating throughout the 4 days we were there. The hotel is perfectly situated for golf being...
