Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed for 2 nights with our two children and another family in the camping field. On arrival we were greeted and shown round the facilities. The staff were so welcoming. The field itself had a climbing frame for the children plus some fire pits we could use. There was a kitchen area down at the barn we could use as well as toilets and showers. The facilities were absolutely spotless. Infact I would say the cleanest I’ve ever seen whilst away on a break. There was also an area in the barn where the kids could play with scooters and other toys. I also wanted to thank the staff. They went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and help us in situations where we fell short. Thank you so much for everything you done for us. We really appreciated it and your kind gestures did not go unnoticed. We all had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.

This was our first experience of an accessible holiday and it was a brilliant one. We had an issue with our car hire and Moira stepped in without question and solved everything. Nothing was too much trouble, the accommodation was clean and of very good quality and very suitable for our son. The views were amazing and there was plenty of room for the wheelchair.

Got to say this was one of the best camping trips we have ever had and we stayed 12 nights. Good location Nice field And an added bonus of a fire pit Good facilities Excellent hosts The road up to the field could do with some filling in of the potholes but apart from that , excellent almost two weeks and to be fair our motorbike coped ok with the road This is one to add to our list to visit again £15 per night for us both with free showers and a kettle to make coffee and a microwave oven is really great value. Thanks to Moira and her team for making us and everyone else so welcome

Lovely camping holiday, small and peaceful with great views including the resident alpacas and sheep. Lots of space for children to play and excellent toilets/shower/hot washing up facilities, which were cleaned multiple times daily. Fire pits available on site. Brilliant facilities available for those with reduced mobility including the ability to drive from camping field to the toilet block, full changing places toilet and added bonus of hot tub on site which can be hired for very reasonable cost. We even had a few visits from the local ice cream van! Very enjoyable family break. Many thanks to Moira and family for their kindness and assistance during our stay. We look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend.

Great campsite! Took the campervan and kids here for the night and had a lovely time. Feels quite like wild camping as is surrounded by lovely views and is essentially a field and you just pick your spot but with added bonus of clean toilets and facilities! Would definitely recommend 😊

Just back from my wee 4 night stay at the rings cabins and cannot recommend enough to anyone looking to escape reality, me and my boys had such an amazing break, plenty to do for the young kids which my eldest boy took full advantage off. We also had a lambing experience which I enjoyed more than my boys! Moira is truly down to earth and cannot do enough for you. Will definitely be back in the near future⭐️

We stayed at the cottage. It's hugeee. Lovely bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms. The surroundings are gorgeous! We were greeted by Moira on arrival she made us feel so welcome and such a lovely lady. We arrived on 30th Dec 2022 , seen in the new year as a family and left on the 2nd Jan. Such a lovely stay and was so sad to leave. Also dog friendly!
