Booked two twin rooms for all four of us. Very clean and well equipped. Breakfasts are amazing. I cannot praise Carrick Lodge highly enough. We will definitely be back again soon. Excellent Accommodation.

I e-mailed the owner of Carrick Lodge Guest House to advise her of our arrival time. However when we did arrive the hotel was locked and no-one around when we rang the bell. The three phone numbers on the door to ring all went onto voicemail. I looked around the back of the

Thank you for taking the time to write the above review. I am very disappointed you did not enjoy your stay with us. I will respond to all the points you make. I apologised at the time for your short wait before checking in as I had been held up collecting my car from the garage but I will apologise again for the inconvenience caused. I think it very unfair of you to pass comment on an area that is private and has nothing to do with the guest house. Our bin area is kept tidy so I can only imagine you are referring to the area where our children leave their toys and bikes. You had booked room 6 online which clearly states has private facilities. We provide bathrobes for guests of this room for the purpose of crossing the corridor. It is not ideally situated to be the room with private facilities but has never been modified to include an ensuite due to the fact this room was the ministers study and has a stained glass window in the corner. You were moved to another much larger room without any fuss and I am afraid there is nothing I can do about my neighbours garden. In fact I am sure she will be horrified to learn it has been mentioned on trip advisor. I can only apologise for the standard of your breakfast. We use high quality ingredients. Our bacon and sausages come from Robertson's in Ardrossan. We had a chef working for us that particular weekend who we had never used before due to the fact I was taking my daughter off the island to start university, hence the reason you did not see me again. I am sincerely sorry you did not enjoy your stay as we do take great pride in what we do and I am very disappointed we let you down on this occasion.

The house is situated just a few minutes outside Brodick which can easily reached by foot. The views from our room, the visitors' lounge and the breakfast room were fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom very modern. The only thing I didn't get was the hallway

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Our heating in the hallways comes from storage heaters and we are not used to day after day of glorious weather so are always a bit fearful of turning them off.

Good location, close to the ferry terminal and easy walking distance to the local resturants and shops etc. Lovely residents lounge to relax in with beautiful views over the water, also a nice garden when the weather is good as it was at the time of our visit. Very welcoming and
