Lovely hotel, the room was first class and the view of the Holy Isle was stunning. All the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to make your stay a pleasure. Will go back again. Food and drink were first rate Recommended

From the minute we arrived the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room on the 1st floor was well arranged, comfortable and very clean. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant and went back down for hot chocolate with marshmallows later in the evening (there are tea/coffee/hot choc facilities in the room if you prefer). This hotel is...

We stayed in a small double room on the top floor for just one night for dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was a little on the small side but very comfortably furnished and immaculately clean - perfectly adequate for a short stay. Lots of helpful information about the island is provided but the little extra touches such as a...

I cannot fault this hotel as it is quite perfect in my eyes: the rooms are well thought out, very comfortable and extremely clean and have everything you could possibly need; the food is just wonderful; the staff could not be more professional, helpful and friendly, and the location is superb. I have never written a review before, but this...

We called for a meal one evening and were thoroughly looked after, nothing was to much trouble, I was even offered samples of their ales. The meals were of good quality and ample portions. I would recommend this hotel for its friendly efficient staff and and first class food

Having had poor food at our hotel in Brodick,(Auchrannie resort), we combed Trip Advisor for better fare. We struck gold and for three nights enjoyed slick friendly service and excellent food and drink. The restaurant was busy, a good sign, but nothing was too much for the staff who coped admirably. The accommodation looks good too. Next visit we'll be...

Lamlash is only a small place on a lovely small island but this place is a gem. We haven't stayed at the hotel yet (camping nearby) but we will. The food is imaginative, excellent quality and perfectly cooked, even on a busy night. Surely Michelin star material. Many thanks (the grumpy brummies!)

Just a 1 night stay with a single and small double room. Short drive from ferry terminal in Brodick. Everything clean, service/staff attentive and friendly, food of good quality, including vegetarian options and reasonable price. Beds and bed clothing very comfortable. Tee and coffee making facilities in the room too. Attention to details very appreciated. Only sad that we did...

Great location BUT VERY BAD CLEANLINESS Bed duvet and pillows were on floor with housekeeping literately on them with her shoes as the rooms are so small. On my return from Arran I have terrible skin rush but most importantly I was very uncomfortable after I have seen this cleaning process.

Wow. When you threatened to write a bad review if I didn't give you a massive discount, you really meant it. As anyone can see from the other reviews, we run a good hotel and our cleanliness is of the highest order. We base our prices on what we think is fair and we do not give in to threats....

Finally I get around to letting all know how wonderful this small hotel is.... From its superb location across the street from the water looking out to Holy Isle, to its comfort and tranquility .... I was here in mid July 2015 for only 2 nights unfortunately ... Great staff, lovely food and warm cosy stylish feel to the place.......
