Spent a fantastic week in Kincardine Lodge! Room 5 has the most spectacular views! The breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are spotless and very comfy! The deer are often visiting at the back of the house and can been seen from the breakfast room. We visited during the rutting season and the resident stag was quite vocal! Kincardine Lodge...

Our three night stay at Kincardine Lodge was brilliant. Andy and Jean made us welcome from the moment we arrived, the room was comfortable and stylish and breakfasts were superb. The location and view over the loch, complete with a variety of wildlife, are unbeatable. We really look forward to returning.

This is a wonderful B & B with clean, spacious rooms and wonderful views of the water. There is a beautiful lounge for guests and a lovely garden. Jean and Andy could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the area -- both the history and the flora and fauna. It was a delight to be...

We stayed here in May on a three week walking holiday. It was well located and really lovely. The house is very old and charming, and the hosts were very nice. Jean is a gardener, so she and I had lots to chat about! We had a lovely room overlooking her garden which was full of happy little birds. Breakfast...

The house is very attractive, right on the water and in sight of the ruined fort. Jean and Andy could not be nicer. The dining room (for breakfast) is spacious and nicely decorated, with a good view of the flower garden and multiple bird feeders (very much favored by the local birds.)

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, and great food! We (3 siblings and our spouses) were hiking the coastal trail around Arran and stayed here for 3 days. Jean and Andy Wilkinson are the perfect hosts. They are very knowledgable about local history, geology, birds, flowers and were lovely to get to know. They were very flexible about times and delivered us...

Jean and Andy could not have been more helpful for our group of 8 hikers. Rooms were well equipped and very clean, some with great views. The full breakfasts were excellent and well served. Lochranza is very small, but quite charming and beautiful.

Kincardine Lodge is a beautiful property run by Andy and Jean in a fantastic location. The rooms are warm and well equipped and although we had to share a bathroom with the other couple in our party this was not a problem. Our rooms were a the back and overlooked the wildlife garden - which boasts regular visits from numerous...

We stayed for 3 nights at Kincardine Lodge earlier this month, and had a wonderful stay. The B&B has a fantastic location overlooking the bay, close to the ferry pier, and not far from the distillery. Jean and Andy were great hosts, who were happy to help with anything. There was plenty of choice for breakfasts, and the bedroom was...

We were only staying for one night and had to change our date at the last minute, but this was no problem for Andy and Jean. They were very welcoming, our room was lovely and absolutely spotless, with beautiful views over the bay. Breakfast was excellent and we would certainly recommend this B and B for anyone coming to Aaron.

“Arran is a lovely island. It is probably best for adults. This B&B was of the Rennie Macintosh era with a resident red squirrel. The hosts were very helpful and it was comfortable. There were no downstairs room for the less able but otherwise it was great.”
