We stayed here as an extension to a business venue for my partner. What a wonderful hotel and welcoming friendly service. The staff could not do enough, nothing was too much trouble and the family feel runs through this the whole time. From the very friendly cleaning lady, to Freya, Stuart, Emma, Richard and Graham, along with others whose names we did not learn - these lovely people were the best hosts. The breakfasts were outstanding with fresh, excellent quality produce and always piping hot, the gastropub food was always tasty and varied - again, piping hot and the bedroom with the four poster bed was beautiful. The only criticism I could have is that your website does your hotel a disservice - you need to update your photos on there! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will certainly hope to return.

Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and once in the garden whilst staying in nearby cottage. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent to and a starter I had black pudding and pineapple was to die for. Good safety measures in place also in respect of COVID-19

Arrived at 1145 and told could sit and wait for coffee and food, they started offering this at noon, My decaff americano was small and almost flavourless, haggis and clapshot was ok no garnish, whisky sauce at £2.50 extra was white sauce in which neither of us could taste the whisky. This made the total £10.45 dish price look expensive. I suspect the Dan Brown effect means that they can charge a bit more and don't have to try too hard. It was good to shelter from the storms!

The food at the Rosslyn Inn never disappointes. We went to another of their TORI wine dinners. 6 wine's, 5 courses and wonderful atmosphere all for just £ 45. Each course was more than adequate and crafted to tantalise the palate. Led by an interesting wine expert who gave an interesting insight to each wine. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised as all food as this restaurant is always great. If it was in the middle of a city the prices would be double. Looking forward to our next visit.
