Visiting family nearby, I found this B&B on the Internet, mainly selected due to proximity to family. Did not realize, until I checked in, how close this was to the famous Rosslyn Chapel! The accommodations were small but good enough for a couple of days stay. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. Car parking at the side...

I very rarely give a bad review but sadly this time I have had to. We arrived at around 7pm having booked the previous June for 2 nights. It was pouring with rain. The door was locked and a note with a phone number to ring. Having just flown in from France my phone was playing up and not giving...

Absolutely disgusting service. We booked to stay here for 2 nights over New Year's Eve. We were delayed leaving Stansted due to weather and now the owner is refusing us entry because it's a "family home"! Also won't provide a refund because we booked through booking.com. We offered to call when outside rather than ring the door but again no...

When we arrived there was no one to open the door for us until we called the number we used to reserve. A young girl came over from next door to let us in. The place seemed abandoned. I wondered if there had been a family emergency or something. Our rooms were to an earlier standard, that is they were...

Now the second time we've stayed in this guesthouse. It has lovely friendly staff who are always happy to help, a play room that is great for kids, mine loved it, and a tea room that serves amazing breakfast rolls. Also lovely rooms with a really comfy bed.

After visiting nearby Rosslyn Chapel -fabulous- we decided to grab a quick spot of lunch in the Tea Room. The menu was not extensive, offering mainly soup and Sandwiches but this was exactly what we fancied. Sadly the soup was finished so we just had sandwiches which were lovely and fresh! ( tuna mayo highly recommended ) The tea was...

I very rarely give bad reviews and I am really trying to find good things to say about this place - so the good things first - location - only a mere stones-throw away from the famous Roslin Chapel. Free wifi and free parking and friendly staff/owner/manager. That's about it - sadly... The interior is dated and the floorboards squeak...

To be fair it has to be said that they were doing renovations while we were staying there. We only slept over the one night. They allowed us to check in early, which was quite a pleasant surprise. The room was medium sized, with a drawer, a TV and a coffee station. Bathroom had a toilet, basin a shower. Everything...

Good clean guest house. Beds were very comfortable with gorgeous linen. Lovely products in the bathroom. Yes it's a bit tired but I like that, feels more genuine and homely. Amy, the woman who owns the place, could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Beautiful building Best way to describe it, gut it and start again Old dark wood giving drab greeting inside the front door Whole place needs a huge redecoration before it gets gutted Room, awful mis matched furniture, flimsy wardrobe, hangars that don't match. Bed, huge indentation in mattress nearest bathroom Tea and coffee, everything rammed into 2 cups every day...
