Findhorn Bay Holiday Park offers three star Holiday Accommodation and a quiet camping and caravaning site next to the world famous Findhorn Community. Nearby attractions include the Universal Hall providing exciting events, the beautiful Findhorn Village with two cosy pubs and a Marina with a watersports centre. Our Eco-chalets are designed and built to a high ecological specification and some of our luxurious Holiday Caravans are fully powered by Green Energy. Our campsite pitches can be pre-booked, and some of them provide 16amp electric hook-up points. We also offer free limited Wifi throughout the entire site. We have 23-holiday caravans within four categories catering to all tastes, budgets and individual needs. Our camping ground has 35 pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes and 23 pitches for tents. We offer an on-site laundry, toilet and shower facilities, a takeaway restaurant (Thursday to Saturday) and an organic grocery shop. Visit our website to book your place today. The Holiday Park overlooks the beautiful Findhorn Bay and is a short walk from the Moray Firth. This area is one of the loveliest parts of the Moray coast with unspoilt golden sandy beaches, pine forests and pretty coves. It is a popular centre for both wildlife and a variety of water sports. Findhorn's climate is influenced by the Gulf Stream and is famed for temperature and sunshine levels well above the national average, as well as low rainfall. Early and late holidays can, therefore, be very pleasant as spring and autumn are generally warm and dry. One of the unique features of the Holiday Park is that it is next door to the world famous Findhorn Foundation and Community, with its award winning shop offering organic food, gifts and books, a cafe serving delicious organic food, and the Universal Hall, which is a 350 seat theatre. A mile away is the pretty village of Findhorn, with two pubs, two cafes, a marina, an organic bakery and a village store.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great site and perfect for a multi-family visit where we all had our own caravans. Very clean and nearby to a lovely cafe, plus other activities for the family. The weather was uncharacteristically poor for Moray but we still had a great time.

This was my second stay here in a static caravan . On both visits I was outside school holidays, so the site was relatively quiet and I cannot comment on toilet blocks or camping facilities for tents and tourers. However I can write about the caravan (spotless), equipment, (all that you might need) although the freezer section of the fridge freezer is a bit small. I found the wardens on both visits to be kind and forgiving ( of my very late arrival for my first stay) and on the second, a phone call to check that I was still arriving and that all was well ( I had been stuck in traffic around Glasgow). I had a minor mishap in that a pen leaked onto a pillowcase which I couldn't get cleaned so I alerted reception to this as I left and offered to pay, but later received a very kind email thanking me for my honesty and saying there would be no charge. The site on both visits was clean and yet not over-manicured, leaving areas of longer grass so the site has a natural feel about it. There is a good mix of static caravans, pods and chalets as well as space for tents and tourers so clientele are varied. The location is ideal for exploring the Findhorn Foundation as it shares the same site, so you have access to all that that has to offer and of course close proximity to Findhorn beaches and the abundant wildlife the area is host to ( I witnessed the arrival of geese for over-wintering on my first stay, September 2023). I will definitely be back for further stays on the site as I hope to make the area my permanent home and will be using Findhorn Bay Holiday Parkas a base to explore just where I want to be. Forres and Nairn are lovely towns nearby and Inverness isn't too far away if you crave a city experience. I have nothing but positive comments to make about the area and the site, so judge for yourself1

We stayed over Easter 2024. Staff were very friendly at check in. Smallish Caravan park with really good separate shower/toilet cubicles. The Findhorn eco village has a cafe/bar, small shop, pizza takeout and bike hire so really good amenities. Findhorn is beautiful with three really good pubs/bars over looking a sea Loch. It’s a 10min walk into town from the caravan park. It’s also about a 10min walk to the beach and there’s miles and miles of tracks and walks to do. The park is also close enough to; Inverness, Loch Ness, Speyside, Aviemore, Cairngorms, Royal Deeside, Cullen/Portsoy for day outs so lots and lots to see and explore. We’ll be back for a longer stay.

Perfect location: close to the beach, Findhorn Village. Good walking directly from the pitch. Toilets and showers are private rather than communal, and there appears to be an extensive choice of accommodations, including very posh-looking pods and holiday homes. I'll be back in the summer for more.

I stayed and paid full price for the month of September - it's a great location. I ran out of toilet paper and asked reception for more. Nearly ended up in a full blown argument - they told me to get lost and buy my own! You need to bring your own towels, which I did. But for the last three days I needed to borrow a towel ... again the wanted me to pay to rent towels just for 3 days. This place wants to milk every penny from you. Oh, and if you are tall, over 5' 10" then the beds will be too short for you.

Didn’t actually go this summer as I had difficulties logging into the online booking system but I have stayed in the static caravans, eco chalets, eco lodges and even the shed-like cabin just about every year right back to my childhood (I’m now mid 50s) and before the park even belonged to the current owners. The reason I couldn’t book was (as I found out the next day when I phoned reception) is that I have apparently been “blacklisted” - their word - by them. This was news to me so I asked why and after consulting with someone else in the office, the chap flippantly told me it referred to something that happened “years ago” even though we stayed in the pet friendly eco house just last year and not a word was said about any prior shortcomings. We always pay extra to take our dog/dogs (it varies who we take) assuming the extra £30 per dog per week is for the extra hoovering involved in cleaning the holiday homes; there are no hoovers in the caravans, just a brush and pan. I was simply told (when I tried to book for this year) that there had been dog fur everywhere and also some damage to a carpet at some unspecified stay in the past. I apologied for any damage to the carpet (hadn’t noticed it at the time) but actually I was just stunned and devastated that this was really happening. After all those years of going to my favourite holiday place, now I am excluded from going if I take my dog/ s. No one had emailed me to say anything about this before I called to book. No call to ask for an extra cleaning charge, no mention of any damage to a carpet. No opportunity to make amends for an unintentional misdemeanour. What a way to run a business and lose loyal customers. I love Findhorn and the holiday park is one of the most cost-effective ways of holidaying in the area. We’ve had some problems with no hot water and door locks in different holiday accommodation types there but nothing major that would prevent us going back. It’s a lovely place with a shop and cafe and pizza place onsite as well as having close access to beaches and fantastic scenery. I haven’t stayed in the tourers area in a very long time so can’t say anything about that but I know facilities were upgraded in the last few years and it always seems busy in the high season. The whole park used to exude a sense of calm and caring but I feel something has changed in how staff approach problems and how some customers are treated. I even sent a heartfelt apology by email following the phone call and had no response whatsoever. The ethos at the park has changed and I doubt, sadly, that I will ever return.

Tidy campsite but really lacking in hands on wardens, everyone pitched just 2 to 3 mtrs from each other. Really needs an onsite warden to control the campers, we stayed 7 nights, 6 of which were spent having to put up with groups of campers & their alcohol fuelled ruckus until well after 12am despite multiple requests from neighbours to quiet down and respect the vast number of young children on site. Overall the entire site is ok though, the shop (not ran by the campsite) is however eyewateringly expensive with very large markups on everyday items, advise anyone staying to use the shops in either Findhorn village or Kinloss.

Lovely staff, super new showers and loos, stunning area and beaches. BUT all tourer pitches are around or close to the kids' play area and the racket, still going strong at 10pm is horrendous. Don't get me wrong,I have 3 grown children and love to hear them playing and enjoying themselves...just not so close and not all day long on my holiday! Our own fault for coming in the summer holidays I suppose, but between this and the lack of outlook(a carpark in our case)we stayed only one of the two nights we had booked. Great for young families, but think twice if you're not bringing kids yourself😊

We stayed on the touring pitches in our caravan. The site is well maintained and the showers and toilets are clean and warm. With the caravan site being next to the well know Findhorn Foundation there is a cafe, restaurant, pottery and well stocked shop. There are quiet peaceful areas and nice walks too. This was our second stay and we hope to book again.

Hi just spent another weekend at Findhorn Bay campsite, The weather was beautiful and it was a pleasure to see so many young familys camping. It was really good to see kids playing games with a ball, and on there bikes and just having fun as kids should be they were very polite and respectful which is a credit to there parents. I went in the sea for the first time in so many years with my granddaughter. Every day we went a walk around the foundation with the dogs. This campsite is so friendly and the staff are brilliant with a very pleasant warden who always has time to speak to you, the toilet/shower block got the seal of approval from my granddaughter along with the takeaway pizza 🙂 the village of Findhorn was lovely to just walk around and the Italian Ice cream at the Captains Table was soo good we will definitely be back with the Beagle bus.
