The Hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk to the town and near Grant Park and Cluny hill. Our room was a good size and nicely furnished but a bit jaded, and the en suite bathroom was in need of modernisation. It was very comfortable however and the rest of the hotel has nice traditional decor, with a... More

Forres is a lovely small town in Moray. We spent a night in a superior room at the Ramnee hotel. The room was very comfortable and the staff were great, we hope to return again soon. The hotel is situated in the centre of Forres and overlooks Cluny hill. The village of Findhorn is also close by.

A nice hotel, one of only two in the town in my opinion, it's a place of two halves. The rooms, and the rest of the hotel. Let's start with rooms. Sadly they hark back to better days and after driving up to the hotel you expect better. They are clean and big enough, but the rooms in the old... More

Lovely hotel. Great location with some beautiful views. The room was comfortable and ample. Food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. Very good rates too. But the main reason for all this lovely positivity is the staff. One and all they could not have been friendlier without being overbearing. In the restaurant they were efficient without being rushed. And... More

A good night, meals were really good, 4 people all having something different and all enjoyed what we had. The service is very good here too. The price is fair also. We didn't feel fit for desert straight after our meal but did about an hour after and it was no bother to staff.

It's been a few years since my wife and I have been to the Ramnee, but I'm pleased to say it is still a stand-out property. We were there for two nights dinner, bed and breakfast at the end of last week and got a good deal - £239 all in, plus no charge for having our dogs with us.... More

We really enjoyed a two night DBB stay in the Ramnee on their autumn offer which was excellent value for money. Our room overlooked the neat garden and drive, full of autumn colours as was Cluny Hill in the background. The room was spacious and comfortable and perfectly well equipped. The decor was a little tired but that did not... More

We spent eight days at The Ramnee in a very spacious , comfortable room and enjoyed their excellent cuisine in a most relaxing atmosphere. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive, without appearing to encroach on your enjoyment of the evening. We dined at the bar restaurant which has the same menu as is offered in the... More
