With the benefit of having B&B’d around Scotland for over 2 weeks with a dog, we can say Norland met our needs exceptionally well. A warm welcome set the tone and the accommodation and facilities impressed from the outset. Furthermore, having a beach almost on the doorstep allowed us to walk the dog for miles whilst enjoying the wonderful views and sunset. Breakfasts were superb - Loved it!

Stayed at this beautiful location last night and was incredibly impressed. My room was super cozy and clean. It felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious and the views of the sea are stunning. 10 out of 10 would stay here again! Thank you to the lovely host, Ishbel, for her hospitality and friendliness. She made the visit even more special. Can’t wait to go back!

What a fabulous find. From the moment Ishbel welcomed us into her home to the moment we left our experience was fantastic. Ishbel has got the balance of being interested and interesting spot on. We had the room at the back corner with spectacular views across the Moray Firth. The bed was so comfortable we could have just stayed in it, marvelling at the view and the ever changing seascape and clouds! Breakfast was perfect; cereals, fruit, fruit juice and whatever you wanted cooked to order. Nothing appeared to be too much to ask for. The position of Norland is also perfect. We're having a green holiday so left our car at home. The bus to and from Elgin is literally outside the front door. And the walk to the West Beach and lighthouse is easily accessible. We are already planning our return!

The best sleep, away from home, I’ve ever had. The view from our room was outstanding, looking out over the sea. We could also clearly see the RAF planes. The room was great, very clean and comfortable, even had it’s own little sitting room. Breakfast was really good, everything you could possibly want. The host, Isabel was absolutely lovely, very attentive but not overpowering. Won’t hesitate to book again.

Arrival was very warm and welcoming, the room was more than adequate for our needs and our pooch certainly enjoyed having her own little corner to sleep in. Breakfast was consistently excellent throughout our stay and the room was serviced every day. The location is perfect for the beach, literally on your doorstep, pooch certainly enjoyed her walk on the beach every morning. The view from the room was beautiful looking right out over the Firth, made even better by the typhoons taking off and landing.....I love the RAF!!!!
