Outstanding food, taste and quality.

Seriously each one of us had a main meal and dessert.

The menu is diverse in range, the fragrance of other people dishes coming out was a real enticer.

Our table was stunned in to silence as we all tucked eagerly and appreciatively of the dish served. Presentation was clean and neat.

Each dish was to die for. Desserts were a wow too.

So we booked our return meal on Friday as we finish our holiday.

Service was initially a bit slow but after that was super and we tipped a well deserved experience.

The title says it.

Sunday evening visit. Staff polite and seated quickly. Drinks served and main meals ordered. Short wait and main meals all came together. The meal was really good. 25min after finishing meal we had not been approached by staff for either dessert or coffee and so we paid our bill and left. I find it extraordinary that after 16mths of COVID restaurant staff would be up selling at every opportunity but not here. Overall really good value for money but don't hold your breath for a dessert more drinks or coffee

Quite a busy restaurant and bar popular with the locals. Drinks were appropriatly priced at the bar with a reasonable variety. Menu options were confined to burgers or pasts. My food was piping hot but was over cooked. Overall its was fine and enjoyable.

We called in during a little outing whilst on holiday. Observation of all things Covid and sanitisers/masks. All was explained and we felt very comfortable.

The boys are both under 10 and were given a children’s menu to make their choices. One had lasagne and the other had macaroni cheese - empty plates (except for the side salad 😋). Both adults had a burger; burns burger and a beach burger. It was the best burger we have had in years!! The bread bun was light, the burger was well cooked and very tasty. The side of chips had been cooked in clean oil and everything was demolished. We both agreed it was delicious.

The service was polite, we certainly didn’t feel rushed, we were able to have some lighthearted banter with the staff and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Would we return? . . . Most definitely.

No pictures as we just tucked in 😂

The owner of this hotel is very arrogant, no respect for his guests at all, I will never step inside this hotel/restaurant again
You book a room half board but when you go down at night for your evening meal your told from the manager that they don’t do half board.
When you argue your case and show him confirmation of half brother tells you to leave the property.
Never again

We visited this restaurant , today, for the first time. We arrived early although, we had booked. Glad we did!! The restaurant is a nice size and the staff are attentive under these nowadays conditions , which we are in. We ordered the gluten free Tuscan Chicken for me which was unbelievably good. We ordered a glazed salmon which went down a treat. Hubby ordered the special ' steak sandwich' which was more than a sandwich. He never stopped talking about iton the way home. This is a delightful venue with charming staff and great food, but a must book place as it was full when we left. The food does take time to come out under the present times, it is very understandable . Thank you for a pleasant experience and we will be back.

We had a lovely short stay here. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly and gave us some great tips for sightseeing. Because we were the only guests (at end of Jan) they gave us the larger, familiy room. Comfortable and very clean with a great view of Lossiemouth beach at sunrise. A good choice of breakfasts including delicious homemade porridge. Would recommend

Yet again another fantastic meal from the team at the Firth view. The food is always great value for money with good portion sizes.
Staff are always happy and professional in their duties.
Even with the current restrictions the place feels relaxed but safe.
This is by far our favourite place to eat out.

Stumbled upon the Firth on a day trip to Lossiemouth and they managed to squeeze us in for a walk in when busy. No wonder, the food was excellent. We were quickly seated and given the gluten free menu, loads to choose from including fish pie, macaroni & cheese amongst about another 7 or 8 mains. Had a starter, main and a dessert! The food was great, (fish pie to die for). Yes, they were busy but were up front and said it would take a bit longer for service and that was fine, we were in no rush.
Highly recommend a visit for food here, didn't stay in the hotel.

Staff were amazing!Couldn't do enough for you. They catered for gluten and dairy free and the food was amazing!! They took our food to our rooms. Will definitely eat in the restaurant again.
The down side unfortunately was the rooms 😕. The beds were really uncomfortable you can feel the springs every time you move. The pillows were old and uncomfortable too. The toilet door on the en suite took an age to close (slow closer ) and was difficult to use especially at night. The en suite was tiny and you couldn't move around in it. I found to nail clippings on the carpet but apart from that the room was very clean. When you flushed the toilet it made a horrendous noise and would be sure to wake the other guests as we could hear theirs too! We went down for breakfast at 8.30 as we were told that's when they served from and everything was closed up. So we ended up going to the Co op for something to eat.
Overall would definitely eat at the restaurant and can't fault the staff. Wouldn't stay at the hotel again though.
