We went to Orkney again just to stay in Eastwood and it is so enjoyable. The atmosphere is happy and relaxed and the evening meals really are a dining experience. Every little detail has been planned so that you want for nothing, iIt was useful to have a quiet little fridge in the bedroom to keep my wife's medicine. The... More

We stayed at the Eastward guest house for one night and booked the Japanese 11 course banquet. Unbelievable cooking. It seemed like all the stops were pulled out for our meal. Freshly ground wasabi, freshly made Yuzu pepper etc. Our award winning breakfast was also amazing. Fresh fruit followed by cinnamon porridge with Guatemalan honey and cherry compote which would... We stayed for 2 nights in September 2016, everything was absolutely fantastic, especially meals they served. We enjoyed fresh seafood a lot! Also walking around the area by the coast, cliff path was nice to feel nature, sound of sea, breeze, and chirping of birds. Many thanks to Patrick and Keiko, who made our Orkney visit memorable and enjoyable one.

Dinner with the yamaga-whites is a fanatastic experience. Patrick described it as a casual meal but it was definately up their with the best food i have had anywhere. It was difficult to leave as they are very welcoming and could easily have taken the offer of the guest room if our own bed wasn't so nearby.

We spent 2 nights at Eastward and enjoyed a very warm and attentive welcome, luxurious en suite rooms and fabulous cuisine. We will certainly stay there again at the earliest opportunity, and will recommend Eastward to our friends. Thank you Keiko and Patrick for getting it so right.

We stayed at the Eastward Guest House with Patrick and Keiko for 5 days the beginning of June with another couple. Our friends had the Daisy Fields room with ensuite and we had Cherry Blossom with private facilities in the hall. Both rooms were lovely, spacious, immaculately clean. Lovely, large gathering room with anything you could ever want ... gorgeous... More

We enjoyed a fantastic trip to Orkney and a key element was the friendly welcome, detailed local knowledge and excellent food at the Eastward Guest House. The varied and extensive menu on offer is best arranged in advance. There is a large and well fitted lounge whilst the rooms were clean and attractive.

Our stay at Eastward House was a wonderful experience. The house itself is a converted church which has been done beautifully. Lovely comfy beds and luxurious bathrooms. The views were breathtaking and the host and hostess very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful and the Japanese dining experience should not be missed. I cannot recommend Eastward House highly enough.... More

My two children and I spent a much anticipated three nights with Patrick and Keiko and their family earlier this August. We had all been looking forward to seeing amazing and mysterious Orkney but we had also looked forward to meeting these special people. We have just returned from a week in Orkney - staying 3 nights in this lovely B and B and 4 nights in the self catering Cressex Lodge next door.
