Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved staying at the Tigh ‘n Eilean Guest House in Aberfeldy. From the moment you drive up to this charming B &B you feel as though you are in an enchanted environment. We were greeted with great hospitality and the breakfast was a great added enjoyment. The bed was very comfortable and we were supplied with toiletries for our use along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a shortbread cookie. If you are visiting the area this is where you should stay with its convenience to town.

Our room in this beautiful house and well-kept garden was clean and very comfortable. The street is very quiet. Breakfast was great and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend.

I stayed here while doing the Rob Roy Way. The room was really comfortable and tea and coffee in the room. The shower room had toiletries too which was good because I’d left my shampoo at another stop. The house is beautiful and my room had lovely views out to the hills. It’s a short walk to the town centre of Aberfeldy. The hosts were really friendly and made me feel really welcome and at home. Breakfast was fantastic. I’d reccomend to anyone visiting Aberfeldy

My husband and I discovered this wonderful place and its lovely hosts Manfred (who also speaks German) and his daughter Victoria when touring Scotland in 2015 and had been planning for a while to come back. So lucky that we managed to stay here again for a week in March 2023. Cosy lounge, cosy room with the river Tay (and a path along it) just across the house and a good view of the mountains. After an excellent Scottish cooked breakfast (with fresh fruit salad to add to your muesli or joghurt) we definitely felt strong enough for our excursions and longish hikes in the stunning scenery around Aberfeldy. We'll be back!

Tigh ‘n Eilean is a delightful B&B. We were in Aberfeldy for a wedding and our one night stay was excellent. On a cold autumn day, we were welcomed and shown to our room which was perfect. The heating was on and the room was fully equipped - excellent tea/coffee tray; toiletries; hairdryer; wifi; tv . There is a lovely outlook onto a quiet street and we were given a key to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was full of choice and excellent. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful! Overall, excellent value for money and highly recommended!

A very friendly, clean & comfortable place to stay with a great breakfast selection. A good central place to stay & discover the area. Fred & his daughter made our stay very enjoyable & he was very knowledgeable on the best places to visit. We’ll hopefully return soon.

We werde really happy with this B&B. The rooms werde cosy, spotless clean and in a very good condition. We had a family room with bathroom and could Not had been more perfekt. There is a lot of effort been put in this place and the location is great too. Our children loved the river right across the street. Highlight was the breakfast, we have never had such a good breakfast in the UK. Healthy, high quality and made with love!! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Aberfeldy.
