I travelled with a friend for a few days motorcycle touring on a Monday.
Leven House is situated just off the main town centre on the A85, and is a short walk from all the town bars and restaurants
We were made very welcome by Duncan and Nichola. Room 7 was a good size for two men and all their motorcycle luggage and clothing, with ample storage. It was nice to see the breakfast room also doubled as a guest lounge with a radio, books, magazines etc.
Our room had been made up as a twin room, the en-suite included a powerful electric shower over a bath for those needing a soak after a busy day. There was ample storage and hanging space for clothes.
Food at breakfast is freshly cooked to order by Duncan, your let him know what you want the night before, and chose a time so that he does not get overwhelmed with orders all at the same time.
There is a private car park to the rear of the house, this is accessed by 31 steps [ we counted !] which may be dificult for people with mobility issues. Outside the house on the road are parking bays which are charged for by the local council during the day, but are free between 18.00 and 06.00
The only mark down is the one for location and is very minor. Leven House is situated just off the town centre so handy for all amenities. However the rooms at the front of the house overlook the main A85 road which can be a bit noisy at times if you are a light sleeper.
The house is clean, tidy and well presented and all staff are courteous and helpful, with Duncan offering to dry our wet motorcycle clothing overnight in the kitchen.
I would recommend Leven House to all and would definitely return to Crieff and Leven House.

I haven't been to Crieff for a long time. I needed to stay for 3 nights unexpectedly and chose the Leven House based on the great reviews. Duncan and Nic were so welcoming. I was lucky enough to be the only person staying (midweek in January) and was put into room 11 on the top floor. The views are incredible from the bay window and the room was so big and spacious (and warm!) It is so quiet and I had great sleep for all three nights.

Breakfast was in a kitsch, and very cool, dining room downstairs. You can choose your breakfast the night before and a time that you would like to have it, and by magic it appears! It is a lovely room with some Classic FM playing and good chats with Duncan! The day I left it was really early and they left me a personalised note and a brown bag of breakfast items to take with me like porridge, fruit, orange juice, Soreen and a pastry which was a lovely touch.

There is a place to park at the back of the guesthouse and you are so close to the town itself. A 5 minute walk to the centre with coffee shops, restaurants and things to see. There are 2 big supermarkets (if you needed them) as well.

It is a short walk to MacRosty Park and Lady Mary's Walk which is beautiful. If you keep going you can head up Laggan Hill, The Knock, and back down via the Hydro into town without ever being a couple of miles from Crieff!

I will definitely stay here next time I am here and totally recommend this lovely place.

A lovely stay, the room has been recently redecorated, and we had none of the usual issues with older rooms.
Nicola, our breakfast host was very welcoming and attentive, at hand to offer more toast or tea, however never intrusive.

If you are considering booking this, then I’d highly recommend it, and suggest you go direct as this host company take 1/5 of the overall payment 😊

I can't praise this house or the couple running it enough. We had a beautiful 30s style bedroom with a big soft comfy bed and the biggest bathtub I have ever seen (I couldn't reach from one end to the other). The room and the hotel was full of lovely interesting touches and had real character but that didn't come at the cost of having all the amenities we needed. The breakfasts were amazing - the poached eggs were beautifully done - and they were amazingly accommodating to dietary needs.

Nicola and Duncan (the couple owning) could not have been kinder, more accommodating and more thoughtful. They allowed us to use the breakfast rooms in the evening to bring back our takeaways to and socialise (we were a group of 7 ), providing cutlery and plates and washing and cleaning up behind us every night. They provided us with good local knowledge and got just the right balance of friendly without being intrusive.

The local area is beautiful and the Crieff cloverleaf provided us with some of the prettiest motorcycling roads we've been on recently. The rain didn't deter us and resulted in so many glorious waterfalls that we didn't know where to look!!! The routes were well thought out and planned if you want to do similar and we even got a cute Crieff cloverleaf welcome pack when we arrived!

Fantastic weekend and we have every intention of returning to complete the routes we didn't manage to complete.

A lovely guest house right in the center of Creiff. Nicola and Dunca, the new owners, are so very welcoming and accomodating I was right at home immediatley. You see how much enthusiasm and care they have for the house as soon as you walk in. Its a beautiful old building.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, fresh and the bedding is lovely. Big fluffy duvet and pillows to sink into after a days walking. Breakfast was delicious and the diningroom, which the owners have obviously just done up in a really stylish and quirky way, is a bright sunny room.

My favourite part of my stay at Leven house though has to be the views from the garden. Was sitting outside on the terrace with a glass of wine looking over the hills and it was a total delight.

Got some great recomendations of places to eat out just ask!

This is a fantastic Guest House I will absolutely be back again and again.

Thank you Nicola, Duncan and the girls.

We stayed at Leven House for two days and it was lovely. Nic and Duncan were very welcoming, gave us local tips, and looked after us brilliantly.
When we booked our stay we were looking for a dog friendly hotel and Elvis our Labrador was very at home there!
We loved everything about our stay; the comfortable, clean room with lovely hot shower, the delicious breakfasts, the fact that we could go on fantastic walks from the hotel, the handy parking and that it was a short stroll into the centre of Crieff.
We were very sad to leave, would definitely recommend to others, and hope to return soon!
Thank you for a fabulous stay.

From the moment we arrived at the Leven House, it was evident that the owners had put their hearts into creating a delightful and serene retreat. The airy rooms were impeccably clean and free of unnecessary frills, making for a comfortable and cozy stay. Duncan and Nicola's warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
Nicola's attention to detail was impressive; she went above and beyond to fulfill our wishes. One morning, when I mentioned my love for fresh fruit with my morning cereal, she magically produced fresh berries and bananas to add to our oats and yogurts. It was a simple gesture, but it made our breakfast experience special.
It was evident that they take great pride in ensuring that their guests have a memorable stay.

Brilliant B&B within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, shops. The room was just right, clean and with plenty of tea/ coffee making facilities. We really enjoyed our breakfasts, we could choose what we wanted each day and they even provided gluten free options. The hosts were really friendly and thoughtful, they left us Easter eggs (as we stayed on Easter Sunday). Thank you! 😊

Leven House is ideally situated for a visiting or travelling holiday. The locals in the town are extremely friendly and welcoming. There are lots of choices to eat out within a 5-10 minute walk. The surroundings are extremely picturesque, with many beautiful sites to visit on the doorstep and surrounding area. My wife and I stayed for 8 nights here and traveled all over Scotland. Coming back to Leven House was like a second home for us. I couldn’t recommend this establishment more!
Duncan & Nicole couldn’t be more hospitable. Their attention to detail in all areas is 2nd to none. The property had a very high standard of cleanliness with a homely feel. The COVID restrictions were strictly followed, very professionally and without fuss. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with perfect timing and attention. We couldn’t have asked for any more and would have no hesitation to recommend Leven House to everybody. We had a delightful stay and look forward to staying again in the future.
Many Thanks to Duncan and Nicole for making our stay so pleasurable.

We were visiting family in a nearby town for a couple of nights and found this little apartment for us. There were 5 of us in total 2 kids and 3 adults.
The owners were really flexible before we arrived as we got there really late on a Friday and it didn’t seem any problem, they were very welcoming on arrival.

The picture don’t do it justice it’s is larger than it looks and it was immaculately clean.

I would stay again if I was in the area and would recommend it too.

Sorry, the hotel was built in1879 and all the bed rooms are on the first floor and the entrance to the dining room is too narrow for wheel chairs. Sorry not suitable for many types of disability. Frank Hoskins
