Stayed at the Bien Inn for 3 days from 6th November 2016. The rooms were very comfortable and warm. The food and hospitality was excellent and nothing was too much trouble the staff were very helpful.

We have just stayed for 1 night at the Famous Bein Inn and it was excellent! The greeting we got from the lovely lady behind reception was warm and friendly, just what you need after having driven from Blackpool to Aberdeen and then back down to Perth! The lady showed us to our room and we were very pleasantly surprised.... More

Bed valances were dirty; skirtings were dirty; room smelled like a well used dog bed; stain on the bedroom carpet was covered with a door mat; bathroom smelled equally bad; hair and debris in the bath plughole; drip stains around the toilet pedestal; pipes knocking all night kept us awake. The inclusive breakfast was to be served from 8am, but... More

Went with a mate, and were surprised how empty the car park was at 1pm on a Sunday. Bar and restaurant were empty but the service was friendly and food was produced promptly. Decent choice of cask/real ales. Disappointingly the baileys cheesecake was extremely bland, vanilla and although I was assured the chef had been given 50ml of baileys there... More

Excellent, attentive, friendly staff. Lots of chat with our two year old daughter. (Brought her crayons and paper) Old style setting - nice and clean. We chose from main menu and specials on board and were not disappointed with anything we chose - in fact we loved it. Not the cheapest for bar meal, but worth it and had a... More

1) Manager's attitude & controlling freak. 2) bedroom - smell damp, tired & dated. 3) TV in bedroom - analog! Should be given to the museum. 4) Fee are fake! We paid as shown £58 5 days before booking which was fine but on that day it advertised reducing to £42 from £85, how can it be worth £85 for... More

Stayed just one night in superior room in October. Room was large, clean and comfortable with good seating area and coffee table. We had an excellent breakfast and Sunday roast dinner. Try the beef rib and you won't be disappointed! The staff were first class and very friendly. The hotel is situated in Glenfarg, about 8or 9 miles from Perth... More
