We had a relaxing dinner in the restaurant, overlooking Loch Earn, which was beautiful in the evening sun. The starters were excellent, but the main courses had an odd selection of vegetables-orange doused Chinese cabbage with the pollock and a watery mixture of vegetables under the salmon. We enjoyed the chocolate caramel tart for dessert.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I would give it more than the five stars. The staff are outstanding, they are so welcoming and helpful. They went out their way to make our visit special. We had a lovely chat with Molly and all were friendly and hard working. The food is amazing! Chef Ryan is obviously passionate about food and this is shown in his menu and dishes. We are going to go back for more very soon!

Occupying an enviable situation overlooking Loch Earn, this hotel has spectacular views. The hotel is a restored 1920s/1930s house with modern extensions. We occupied a Lubnaig King which had a fabulous front-facing view over the loch. The room was a bit cramped and somewhat smaller than we had anticipated, however. Despite the hotel’s claims of refurbishment, we felt it was still rather tired. Whilst the bathroom was decent enough, there was a strange, snug alcove containing a dressing table and an in-built wardrobe with wooden doors that did not open or close properly! Some of the communal areas equally felt very dated. The high spot of our brief one-night stay was the dinner, served in the modern conservatory. The menu was quite short but it was nevertheless a good meal. The restaurant justly deserves its’ accolades.

Drove past and popped in here for lunch. It was alright. My Cullen skink was a wee bit too salty but nicely decorated. I was expecting chin is of potatoes but it was puréed in the soup. Hubby had beef sandwich. It was alright no issues. Nice setting.

A wonderful location over looking the Loch. The evening meal was amazing as was the breakfast. All very reasonable priced with excellent customer service. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Only only observation was that they do allow dogs to stay with customers. Our room did have a slight dog odour which was a little off-putting. However, we will visit again.
