The castle is spectacular. Nice comfy room, great shower.
We didnt eat there as the prices were pretty expensive, although I have no doubt the food would have been great!
Staff were lovely, would definitely recommend if you want to stay in a castle.

I agree with the previous writer that bus is convenient from Inverness to Dornoch BUT it leaves early (?9.20am) so you would need an overnight stay in in Inverness unless you were doing sleeper which arrives Inverness ?6am... More

Train connection goes to Tain and a taxi would be feasible from there approx.8 miles.
