We stayed in lodge 6 for 10 days from September into October 22 and with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen all spotlessly clean and a large veranda to sit outside with deer and red squirrels all around nothing at all to find fault with only praise. Lots to do in the area with something for everyone. This is an absolute gem and probably sets an industry standard. We couldn’t recommend highly enough. John & Sandra Clayton

We stayed in Lodge 8, very spacious, clean and comfortable. 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, conservatory, lounge, kitchen, 2 x benches outside (1 x side and 1 x front on balcony). We felt like we were the only people there, so quiet and peaceful. We were even fortunate enough to see a Deer run past our lodge into the woods behind. Locally there are lots of loch ness boat trips, walking routes, waterfalls (we went to Plodda falls, highly recommend), Cairngorm mountain- a bit of a drive but worth it with lots of activities and stop off for Aviemore. Plenty of brewery's and distillery not too far also

First time away after self hibernating. We had to cancel last years booking and Elizabeth was more than understanding and made sure that this years booking was available for us. Excellent communications were had over the ensuing months and nothing was too much trouble. After a bit of a journey we were met at Reception by Elizabeth with a friendly smile and directed to No.7 set on its own above the trees with fantastic views to Loch Ness and the valley. There was tea, coffee, milk and excellent biscuits provided for the weary traveller - most welcome. The lodge was spotless, lovely freshly made up comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, sumptuous leather setees that engulfed you and a beautiful conservatory that led out to a seated balcony - just right to sit and watch the wildlife or the views. Oodles of hot water for showers or baths. We have stayed in many self catering properties but this trumps them all. We hope to return as it is the most beautiful, quiet and relaxing spot to be in. Ideal place to base yourself for trips out, easy shopping in the village and everyone is so welcoming and friendly…

My husband and I stayed in lodge 8 for a week's holiday. The lodge was absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of Loch Ness. Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess. She provided us with fluffy white towels, fresh crisp bed linen and left fresh milk in the fridge, plus tea, coffee, sugar and some delicious biscuits. There were also some fresh flowers on the dining table. The attention to detail was wonderful. The lodge was spacious, spotlessly clean and was so peacefully quiet. It was the perfect base to explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands. I would thoroughly recommend staying in one of these beautiful lodges as it is the ideal place to unwind and recharge the batteries, relax and enjoy stunning views!

First trip away since lockdown. Lodge was fabulous, spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds and quality linen. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you need. Highlight for us was the conservatory and big balcony with the most amazing views towards Loch Ness. Location was great with restaurants and great walks within a few minutes drive. Hopefully we will return soon, also very nice welcome pack much appreciated.

What a lovely welcome to start our holiday, Elizabeth is so welcoming and really makes you feel at home. Fresh flowers, Tea, coffee, biscuits and more all await you in your lovely cottage. This place is spotless and well maintained. Just bring clothes and towels every conceivable utensil and home gadgets are here, hair dryer, iron, ironing board. Parking is right next to your cottage. It's very steep to get up the hill but that just adds to the fun. Views are to die for. Close to local shops and attractions. This is our 1st night here and after a tough few months for everyone during this pandemic I feel so relaxed just a shame its only for a week. We love it already.

We stayed for the first week of the October holidays, we're a family of 4 with a toddler, to which we were provided a travel cot for. We stayed in no.11 and it was absolutely amazing! The standard of the cottage was outstanding. So much so we could have easily moved in! Had a lovely bunch of flower, shortbread, tea/coffee waiting for our arrival. There was a mix up through a separate booking site that let us book Sunday-Sunday. Something they don't do, but thankfully Elizabeth ever so kindly honered those days. She was a lovely host ❤️. The drive up the steep braes were a bit daunting at first, bit soon got used to it. We will most definately be back. 😊

Been staying at these lodges since 2011 and they don’t disappoint Amazing views, comfortable beds and all home comforts Hill drive up to lodges is a bit daunting first time but you get used to it quickly and it is well worth the effort The owner Elizabeth is one of the nicest helpful ladies I have ever met and nothing is too much trouble We will certainly be returning soon
