I have stayed here before and each time the place as been impeccably clean, super comfy beds and the rooms ave everything you could ask for from toiletries in the bathroom, hairdryer, shaver/toothbrush charger socket, shaving mirror and a hospitality tray with coffee, to chocolate and a selection of teas. Fiona even puts a jar of her delicious home baked shortbread in the room every day. They even have a nice relaxing living room for guests to use. Breakfast is amazing. Fiona leaves a card out at the entrance for you to choose from and you can have cereals, a selections toasts and croissants that come with Fiona’s home made jams and homemade oatcakes with delicious local butter and heather honey. You can also choose yogurts and of course a full Scottish breakfast (meat or veggie) and a heated plate with fresh coffee, tea and hot water. They really have thought of everything. I would without a doubt place the Glenkirk with some of the absolute finest top quality B&Bs in the area.…
Not much to say really except it is probably one of the best B & Bs around. We love coming back and the hosts Fiona and Ross are lovely people who make you feel very welcome. The surrounding area is also very nice so it's well worth a visit.
Last Summer we stayed overnight at Glenkirk B&B, which is absolutely outstanding! The standard more corresponds to a luxuary hotel than a B&B. Really nice rooms (and only three in total) which makes the place familiar and calm. The landlord and lady are warm and welcoming, familiar, yet very professional. The breakfast was all home made from bread through eggs and marmalade. SO DELISIOUS!! We visited a lot of places in Scottland, but this was - BY FAR - the abslolutely best stay! From this B&B you can easilly reach a lot of famous places neraby. We send our best and warmest recommendations to Glenkirk B&B. For sure - we will return once more!
We were welcomed by Fiona who along with her husband have made this a really lovely place to stay. The property has been renovated to the highest standards and our room is beautiful with all you could want and more. We have a lovely sitting room also with tea and coffee facilities and delicious shortbread made by Fiona plus a nice sized tv if required. This is certainly a place not to be missed if you are travelling in this magnificent part of Scotland.
