We were made welcome from the moment we arrived at Morlea and the personal touches were well appreciated - from the homemade lemon drizzle cake to the nespresso maker and wide variety of teas in the room, in addition to plentiful extra sockets and a USB charging point. A great selection of toiletries and the room (and whole house) was beautifully decorated.
Chris and Julie made us a wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning - the best porridge and fresh berries on our trip along the Great Glen Way! We were a little nervous about the 20 mile walk the next day but were given much encouragement and a safety number just in case we needed picking up! Would highly recommend to others.

Working in the area i needed somewhere to stay and date would be not known until quite close to the actual day. I spoke to Julie and she was amazing and we agreed flexible a flexible solution. On the day after a very long drive through storms and blizzards and straight into a full days work outside I arrived.
Morlea B&B was fantastic, welcoming and I was so glad i had chosen - the room was VERY comfortable and considered, the thought of what is required by someone visiting was exceptional. I have traveled widely and would say that Julie and Chris have created one of the most homely rooms I have stayed in. The full Scottish breakfast was amazing also!
Well done to Julie and Chris and I wish them every success!

Great B&B, very organised from booking to end of trip. Received email few weeks before travelling with a brochure which gave you all the lnformation you needed from restaurants to trips out and information about the house.

On arrival I was very pleased with the location of the house, on the green near restaurants, bars and information hub. The room was beautiful with everything you need. Julie & Chris are fab hosts. Lovely breakfasts which are fresh with lots of choice. Great dog friendly B&B.

We left the B&B and carried on with our travels. After playing golf my husband realised he had left his golf watch charger in the room. I emailed Julie and she replied straight away saying she had found the charger and will post to our home address

Fabulous service from start to finish

This was the best b&b we have ever stayed at. Sinds October 2019 the place has new owners and they made it feel like a mix between a luxurious hotel and a cosy home. The spacious rooms were beautiful, perfectly clean and super cosy, with luxurious beds, a nice bathroom and everything else you can think of you might need! The (new) owners are so friendly and helpful, and prepared a delicious breakfast for us with fresh porridge, salmon, eggs, croissants, fresh fruit and yoghurt. In each room a tin with a (still warm!) slice of lemon cake waited for us when we arrived, which was so good we had to ask for the recipe. The location is also perfect, with good restaurants next door, the castle nearby and halfway the Great Glen Way. We stayed here near the end of our walk of the Great Glen way and this felt like the place we could fully recharge and come to rest. We highly recommend this place, its so so so lovely!

We stayed at the Morlea for one night during a trip around Scotland. It is a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the linen and towels of very high quality. The hosts Chris and Julie are so friendly and welcoming, it was a pleasure to share their beautiful home even if it was for just one night. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional, as was the service, top quality produce served piping hot and with great attention to both detail and our needs. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much

Getting towards the end of the Great Glen hike (and having got lost at one point during the day) this place was an absolute dream when we finally arrived. Boot warmer/dryer rack inside the door, lemon drizzle cake (plus recipe) in a tin on the bed, Nespresso coffee machine and a brilliant breakfast. Great to get there, hard to leave. Also only 20 metres from the best fish and chips of the hike (and we had a lot).

Fabulous B&B, the best we stayed in during our road trip of the NC500. Julie and Chris were the perfect hosts. Bedroom was beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean and of lovely quality. The homemade cake left in the room was a lovely touch and was delicious!
Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and we really enjoyed it, there was plenty of choice available. Covid precautions were in place. We will definitely make a return trip one day. Thank you Julie & Chris and very best wishes for your future success. Peter & Lynne 😊

Lovely, friendly owners. Spotlessley clean. Breakfasts delicious and made to order. Dog friendly...nice touch to provide a temporary name tag for your dog incase of any unplanned seperation. Nothing is too much trouble and rooms, though small, are very well equipped and comfortable. Home baking on arrival a nice touch. Thank you.

Stayed in August for only one night but our stay was perfect at Morlea BB. Spotless clean house with nice decorated rooms and extremely comfortable bed. Everything was provided for us, Julie really thinks about every single detail, such a kind host! We got a message from her a few days before arrival full of usefull informations about the house and the area. She even printed our boarding cards as this was our last evening before our flight.

We also found the lemone cake box upon arrival as other mentioned and this was the only place where a nespresso machine was in the room and there were small espresso cups provided. We only drink the short , strong espresso so I could really appreciate that!
You can choose your breakafast items the evening before including the full scottish version. That was more then sufficient.

As we only wanted to eat something small in the evening we tried the fish and chips truck just a few steps from the house at Fiddlers. Well... it was not bad but I would not eat there again. We have eaten better shrimps and better chips during our trip in Scotland.... And we had to wait 45 minutes for a box of chips and shrimps. But again it was the food truck and not the restaurant!

The little place of Drumnadrochit is so nice, and the BB is just in the middle of it. We made a nice walk around in the evening, this place really worth a visit.
We would happy to return anytime when visiting Scotland!

The B&B was perfect: very clean, a romantic and tipical Scotisch design, very good beds, perfect location and a real good breakfast. The location is perfect because on walking distance there are a few very nice restaurants in Drumnadrochit. And when you leave on a hiking tour for the whole day, there is just on the other side of the street a lovely shop where they make super good sandwiches and lunch. We will defenitly be back soon!
