Traditional Highland hotel set in stunning scenery on the quieter, south side of Loch Ness. Offering simple rooms with fresh decor, friendly & down to earth customer service and a warm welcome. Our bar meals are freshly prepared using quality local ingredients alongside an excellent selection of whisky, local ales and small batch gins. We are well positioned for exploring the highlands of Scotland or as a start/end point for the North Coast 500 route. On the South Loch Ness trail, the hotel appeals to walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists and those looking for a relaxing break.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Blazin Puddles, murder mystery night. The owners and staff at the Whitebridge Hotel really know how to give country, godfaring folk a good night out, yes siree. GREAT entertainment, really delicious food, best beer for miles and such a lovely, easy osie, laid back atmosphere, yet attentive, good service. Thanks so much for such a good night out and stay over.

Lesley, Bella and all the Whitebridge Team made our Hogmanay stay amazing. Piped in to an amazing Hogmanay Dinner followed by a Hoolie in the Bar. Met some lovely people and arranged to meet up again for Hogmanay 2023/24! We enjoyed some lovely walks in the snow, lots of amazing food, chill time in front of the log fire in the lounge. New Years Day pub quiz (we won!) was a hoot, especially the activity round! Can’t wait to return for Burns Night.

This was our first time having a meal here, it certainly won’t be the last. The bar area itself is very cool, so much to look at with quirky decor and lots of conversation starters! We were the only 3 in the bar when we arrived but it felt so cosy and full of atmosphere despite this. We were sat next to the fire which was lovely. We had the most lovely staff looking after us , both ladies were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible! You could tell everything was home made. I had the macaroni and garlic bread and my partner and mum had the venison burger. Desserts were also delicious. We all agreed that it was the best meal for a long time. 10/10 across the board!

I want to say a special thank you to the staff at Whitebridge Tavern. Our dinner plans for my 60th birthday were messed up that afternoon and my son in law contacted them around three that afternoon. They were happy to host us. When we arrived at 7:00 that night, they had birthday streamers put out and other decorations. They made us feel so welcomed! A special thank you to Sarah. You guys are incredible. Our group said it was the best food we had in Scotland!

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. We are a group of 14 walkers who have a weekend away every April and November. Our stay here in the Whitebridge exceeded all our expectations. The decor is so quirky and well designed. The food delicious and well presented - breakfasts were great and the dinner at night superb . The bedrooms are all of a good size with comfy beds and bedding. The hotel even has a drying room for wet gear after rainy walks in the hills. The staff are joyful and very friendly and bend over backwards to help. There are cosy log fires to sit around in the winter. The scenery is spectacular and wild life a plenty, red deer, eagles, red kites to name but a few. Only 20 minutes drive from Fort Augustus and Loch Ness.

My husband and I are staying here for a night before we fly off to London from Inverness. I have been looking for a dog friendly hotel in the Inverness area for a while. This is the perfect location. The owners are friendly, the staff amazing. The ambience is very special. Our room is immaculate and has everything we need. It is so comfortable we cannot wait to return. This is a great place to stay if you are ever in the area and I thoroughly recommend coming here. The pictures will show the beautiful view from our room.

a great stay at this friendly cosy pub/hotel. The hotel is full of interesting memorabilia that will keep you occupied for your stay just looking around, The toilets are a must see for quirkiness, rooms were clean and comfortable, our room had amazing views, Real Ale, food to die for, would suggest you book your meal to be sure of getting a table, staff and customers are very friendly and welcoming, We will return as soon as we can fit it in, it was that enjoyable, we stayed one night but wish it could have been longer, B&S

We visited in September after doing the NC500 and like the rest of the people we met in the highlands the hospitality was exceptional. The Sunday lunch was great and they made our dog feel special. Lovely team of hosts. I wish it was closer but we come from Sussex.
