We stayed with Ken and Gwendy for four nights in June and could not have had a better experience. Their croft is lovely, overlooking the Sound with views to Skye, Rassay, and Rona. Our room had a beautiful view and our bed was a dream to sleep in. Gwendy and Ken go overboard for breakfast - homemade bread, kippers, bacon...

Lovely b & b with a friendly welcome and ample choice for breakfast , freshly cooked. Clean comfortable room a little bit away from Applecross but we didnt mind and loved the peace and quiet and would definitely stay here again. All in all we enjoyed our short trip to the highlands and the amazing scenery and will definitely be...

Stayed with Gwendy & Ken with our (relatively) new-born for a night back in March - we're seasoned travellers to the Highlands & Islands, but this was our first time B&B with a baby. Gwendy could not have been more welcoming.. family-type room with a shared bathroom, lovely views across to Rona. The house itself is not for you if...

We love Charlie (JR), he keeps us entertained and is a real charmer.Gwendy and Ken are excellent hosts, warmth and hospitable folks that offer a great night's sleep. Check out Gwendy's greenhouse and her fabulous flora and fauna.... Ken is the nicest chap.... manly and kind... We arrived with in our dusty Nissan Juke and he gave it a nice...

The house is very remote, near just 2 or 3 other houses and 15 minutes drive from Applecross, a tiny village with a row of houses, a pub, a small shop, a restaurant and a hotel. The nearest town is probably at least one hour of narrow mountains roads away. The surroundings are spectacular with sea, hills and view of...

Welcoming and very comfortable accommodation, just a few miles from Applecross in a very peaceful location. The room is spacious and relaxing, and I slept like a log in the comfortable bed. And, what an amazing sea view from the bedroom window! Gwendy's breakfast is really good, especially the venison sausages. We didn't get to meet Ken this time, but Charlie...

Ken and Gwendy are such lovely people and have the 'light touch' of the perfect B & B host - they know exactly when to give you space, but are on hand to give great advice, tips, local info and they are so friendly! The place is gorgeous, what a lovely peaceful spot - great for walkers, wildlife spotters, anyone...

What a great B&B! We had a lovely room, with amazing views over the Sound to Rona and Raasay, and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a B&B. The house is on a croft, just above the sea at Lonbain and is peace a quiet personified. Gwendy and Ken are lovely hosts, and provided amazing breakfasts (try...
