Good size clean room in the block behind the hotel. At first it felt like walking into an old peoples home but the room was more modern.. Good food and pleasant staff. Used sauna, pool and ping pong table. All clean and quiet at this time of year. Fantastic value for money. The village is a 'must visit', truly exceptional,...

Payed a very good price for the hotel and can't complain about anything apart from the bed being on the form side but that I can live with food was good always a choice and even though it wasn't the ritz the food was good and hole some. Just returned from a David Urqhart Coach Tour. My room (22) was clean enough but the old bath was not in a nice state. Room needs redecorated. Meals were lovely and plentiful. Breakfast was great and non greasy. Staff were very nice. The Jacussi is not working and never going to be. Entertainment was good. We were wakened about four...

Dear EFBScotland, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay. There is a refurbishment program currently going on in the hotel and the older baths are part of that plan. We have made great progress this year with the leisure facilities, dinning room, reception and now 17 bedrooms have been redecorated. The leisure facilities were redecorated at the beginning of the...

Where to start? If you are part of a coach tour this hotel is perfect... Rooms very dated, although clean. Food was pretty mediocre. No prices on menu as coach customers have pre ordered and pre paid. This is a problem if you aren't a coach tour customer! Aside from this, mealtimes we're very restricted. In addition, we were woken...

Well it is a rather old fashioned hotel but ideally placed in a very quiet and pictureque area. The room had dated furniture but I was lucky that I had a lodge which was in a very quiet area at the side/back of the hotel.

Dear Mike J, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Our rooms are not the most modern but we are currently in the process of doing something about it but this does take some time unfortunately. Hopefully you will return in the future to see the changes we are making. Kind Regards Debbie Scott General Manager

We had a family room. Ground floor. Dated furnishings, but clean and adequate. The meals were fantastic and lots to choose from. Staff were friendly. It's not 5star, but it didn't cost 5star. Cheap and cheerful. Don't go looking for luxury, but a place to lay your head and a few good meals.
