This hotel is one of the most pet friendly hotels we have stayed in. The food here is also first class. We were allowed to take our dog into the bar area while we had our evening meal. The owner has lots of local knowledge for the people who are exploring the area.

Stopped off here for an evening meal. Restaurant was empty when we arrived at 6:15pm Sat night but another two couples came in shortly afterwards. Dinning room was lovely with a number of tables with a window view. Service was very friendly, meals were simple but excellent quality and good value.

I found this hotel online as it was close to the Glenmorangie distillery. It is a lovely, clean oasis away from the rest of the world. Beautifully quiet, clean rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others and will definitely as/when I am back in the area again.

Boyfriend and I went for dinner and it was lovely. We live just up the road and never been in but we will be becoming regulars, the menu was simple but it was gorgeous. And really cheap for what we had. We were surprised the place was so quiet.... However when we previously drove past it did look closed so... More

Decided to eat here with a group of four just for a change from The Shandwick. Restaurant was very quiet when we were in. Only four other customers came in as we were leaving. The one waitress that served us was a bit distant but seemed rather young. The menu was limited to the basics. We all had the battered... More

I stayed for one night as I made my way further north up the east coast of Scotland. It is slightly off the main route but not so far as to cause any problem - I prefer these locations to main roadside stops even for overnight as they are quieter and usually in ,ore attractive locations. After a day driving... More

We booked a twin room at the Fearn Hotel as a stop-over on our way to Orkney and arrived early afternoon. Our room was very clean and bright with all the usual amenities. I don't think the owners would be offended if I said that few people use the Fearn Hotel as a final destination but it was excellent for... More

The Fearn hotel is off the beaten track, but the owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room we were given was clean and newly decorated with nice white linen on the beds. We had booked for dinner bed and breakfast and this was excellent value for money at £99 for two. Our evening meals were very nice... More

Fabulous 2 night stay at Fearn Hotel. Denise and Graeme instantly make you feel at home. Headed of to Altnaharra the next morning to bag 2 Munros after a 7am cooked breakfast. Arrived back late at 7.45pm and worried we might be too late for dinner but no problems here as they were happy to let us have dinner at... More

“Room 1 had plenty of storage space. Farmhouse white walls and pine furniture. Parked the car beneath the window so we could keep an eye on it, but I would imagine the crime rate is zero in Hill of Fearn. Nice bathroom.”

“Hard to say, as I only saw the single room which was perfectly good but basic compared to some. (I was traveling on a tight budget) Reading other reviews there are clearly a range of sizes and types of room.”
