The last one night stop on our North Coast 500 trip this August and nice to finish on a high. Superb hosts & wonderful breakfast with the bestest marmalade! If we were ever to visit the area again we would most definitely return. Thank you so much.

Hi Julia, Thank you for your warm words about your experience at Wemyss House. We do offer all our guests a breakfast totally served at the table, with fresh local and home made products which, we think, makes it more special for guests than 'queuing' and self catering. Thanks to both. 😊

We arrived at the property way too early, but Christine and Stuart welcomed us with open hands and enabled us to settle in. No words can describe how warm, friendly and nice this couple is. It felt just like arriving home to mom for a weekend or holidays. This is definitely the best B&B we ever stayed. And the house… Uau. Gorgeous and peaceful, surrounded with lovely gardens and trees. Unfortunately it was just a two night stay, but we are so glad we picked Wemyss house. Our room on ground floor was absolutely luxurious and the bed was really big and cosy. And what a view from the bed in the morning - just unforgettable… sea, sun, bay… that's what makes your day if not a week :-) Christine’s breakfasts were so tasty and her Seville orange marmalade with home baked bread was so delicious. I’m sorry I didn’t ask if I can buy a jar or two. And Stuart's service, it was nothing but excellent. We'll definitely come back to Northern Scotland and for sure we’ll stop at Wemyss. Thank you, Christine and Stuart, for this fantastic experience.

Stuart and Christine are the quintessential hosts and the House is quietly elegant, and comfortable. The gardens are meticulously kept and worth a wee tour around the grounds. Rooms was spacious and the bed perhaps the best we have experienced in Scotland over 6 trips. Breakfast was perfect.

Hello Twocanns, thank you so much for your complementary review of Wemyss House. It’s so good to know that you enjoyed your stay. Re the beds....we think comfort is very important and have new pocket sprung beds with down quilts for our guests, after all an uncomfortable bed makes for an uncomfortable stay. Thanks again to both.
