We stayed at Busta House for a couple of nights earlier in the winter. It was cold outside but warm, welcoming and comfortable. The building is old and full of interest, in a wonderful position in central Shetland. The staff were friendly and helpful. (And the wifi was

It’s an easy drive on the main road from Lerwick - about 22 miles . Busta House can be spotted as you approach Brae- it’s on the other side of the Loch .. hope this helps.

winter is the best time to see the northern lights, if you can get away from the glow of the streetlights and its a clear night you will be able to see them, in the mean time they can be viewed on the shetland web cams in particular the cliff cams

Only went for a drink, so didn't stay in the rooms. Why not contact the hotel and ask?

Many thanks. Nicola
Nicola For some reason, Tripadvisor keeps reminding me to respond to your 'many thanks'. It's not really me just trying to have the last word, honestly! I hope you get your holiday arranged and, if you come to Shetland, enjoy it regardless of where you might stay. regards Joe Rocks ps if you reply to this we might never get out of this communications loop.
