Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had an overnight stay while attending a nearby party. Room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with fridge, kettle, iron etc. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Accommodation was spotlessly clean with ample parking spaces. Breakfast was served in the lovely restaurant behind the hotel. Lovely modern dining area with plenty of delicious breakfast choices and a friendly and pleasant waitress. We opted for the cooked breakfast which was first class. We would definitely return for an overnight stay and recommend it for both comfortable accommodation and for the excellent food served there.

We stayed 2 nights. It's a lovely hotel, the room was very spacious and well-equipped. Very clean, and the linen smelled lovely and fresh. Good location and beautiful sea views. Nice welcome too. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. We hope to be back.

Breakfast is included in the restaurant and was very good quality. All the staff were very nice and very friendly. Lots of things to see around the area. I would definitely recommend it.

Spacious room including a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. Safe located in the wardrobe. Everything was clean, comfortable beds. Crate provided in our room for our dog. Dogs were allowed in the restaurant. It was all single storey, good if you have mobility issues. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the adjacent restaurant. We experienced road noise in our superior sea view. room, ear plugs came in useful. The hotels in a good location, just across the road from the beach. Lots of car parking. We would stay here again.

My 7 year old niece and I visited for dinner and really loved it. The waiting staff were super friendly and made my niece and her cuddly toy dog feel really special! The menu isn't as big as other restaurants but it has lots of family favourites, as well as speciality dishes. The food was faultless. Impressive and delicious. Thanks very much. We'll be back!

A very well appointed Hotel just south of Girvan, on the coastal road. Hotel situated right by a beautiful sandy beach. Ideal for families. Rooms very good, comfy double bed. Recommend you book a Seaview, amazing.. visited to onside restaurant, again very good.i was served by a young lady called Katie. Attentive and friendly. Great food for both dinner and breakfast. Be aware, the restaurant is a separate business from the hotel, so no putting drinks on your room. A great one night stay, Recommended.

I've passed this hotel about 20 times and always wondered who would stay here. Turns out, Me! We got a late ferry and stayed over before continuing on our holiday. We got a video to illustrate the check in process, which was super-easy to follow. The room was immaculate and came with a mini kitchen area. There was no bath, but a good shower and a full bale of towels. Breakfast started at 6.30, I think. Definitely before 7am, which as an early riser, I appreciated. The breakfast was a full meal, with all the usual choices.
