Just returned from an overnight stay at the Eisenhower at Culzean and couldn’t fault a thing. Such a wonderful experience- so different. The staff are helpful and professional without being intrusive. The food was amazing. We stayed in the Ailsa suite which is a large bright room with a lovely big bathroom - both rooms have fantastic views of the sea too. No TVs in the bedrooms, but there is a tv room for guests to use. Will definitely be back.

We hired the accommodation on an exclusive basis for our 40th wedding anniversary celebration and were extremely pleased with the planning and attention we received from Shannen and the rest of the team. The accommodation, food and service we received was excellent. We would highly recommend staying at Culzean Castle.

Just returned after spending yesterday at this beautiful hotel/castle. Food was excellent. The room was immaculate, in fact everything was first class including Billy the duty manager. He is very welcoming friendly and extremely funny, especially whilst doing the private tour of the castle. He really made our stay and I hope this review is fed back to him. Would love to return.. Fabulous overnight at The Eisehower in Culzean Castle. Stunning bedroom, lovely afternoon tea, dinner and super breakfast. Private castle tour was amazing. Lastly the continuous attention from staff member Iain was exceptional. A wonderful time and would highly recommend.

The Eisenhower Apartment in Culzean Castle is a wonderful place to stay in you're travelling in Ayrshire. If your travels take you to Glasgow, it's well worth making the short drive (approximately 40 miles) to the Castle. The formal dinners (which include wine) are a bit pricey, but beautifully done and prepared specially each day. There is no charge for the excellent full breakfast and afternoon tea (which is served in the sitting room, with views of the Isle of Arran across the Irish Sea). The parkland and gardens around the castle are very well tended and worth a long afternoon ramble, and you can also tour the rest of the Castle. During the cooler months, the staff light a fire in the sitting room after dinner and it is a very pleasant place to have a chat and a drink. My family and I have travelled extensively and this was the best 'hotel' experience we've ever had. The staff and accommodations are top-notch and will make you seriously consider a return visit.

23rd Jan 2010 - what a day! what a place! and what excellent service we received. From the moment we started to communicate with Fi McClelland the Hospitality Development Co-ordinator to the day we left was the most professional friendly service we have ever received. Fi, along with Brian Galbraith and his team from Glasshouse hospitality made our wedding day very special. Every couple wants their day to go without a hitch! And it certainly did. They both worked very hard but with effortless professionalism. We both enjoyed our wedding day and all the guests feed back with how wonderful the wedding, surroundings, the food and the services were. We would recommend Culzean Castle to anyone planning a wedding in Scotland.

When we decided to get married we could not think of a more magnificent setting than Culzean Castle and a stay in the Eisenhower Apartment.

We had spoken with Mr David Heron (Manager) on many different occassions with regards to the whole wedding and he really couldn't have helped us more, we have a lot to thank him for.

When myself, my bridesmaid and a friend arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentlemen who carried most of our wedding clothes to the room for us. After hanging our clothes and showing us our room we were shown round the rest of the apartment and invited to help ourselves to complimentary drinks from the sitting room. The sitting room boasts amazing views over Arran.

We mentioned that we had missed lunch with all the running around we had done that morning 10 minutes later a massive platter of fresh sandwiches was brought to our room.

The Eisenhower Apartment has a fantastic big bedroom with views over the fountain, en-suite bathroom with views over the entrance to the castle so I could have a sneaky peek at all the guests arriving. We also had a dressing room and seperate toilet.

Just as we were having our hair and make-up finished we were told that afternoon tea would be served in the sitting room, this consisted of home made scones filled with fresh cream and strawberry jam all served with tea and coffee.

The whole experience made us feel so special and the bedroom was extremely comfortably decorated we couldn't have asked for more. When we checked out in the morning we were given a lovely bottle of champagne.

This has to be the most beautiful, romatic place we have ever stayed and would strongly recommend a stay here and as a wedding venue.

I had a few problems adding pictures to the review so if anyone wants to see any pictures or has any questions please feel free to e-mail me.

I've been visiting Culzean Castle for many years now since my first trip in primary school, & i still find places or interesting things i never found on a previous trip, Although i must admit my days of exploring the smugglers caves, or taking the one of the many long walks have kinda been pushed aside for more relaxing things like picnics at the swan pond, or having a coffee while feeding the Dear, Culzean Castle has enough space to tire out any kid big or small,Parking is free once you've paid to get in past the main gates or if your a bit more of an adventurer & up for a good walk the Ayrshire coastal path runs right through the grounds which will save you the gate fee,

The Castle has list of folk who you can use Best to tender transport to local taxi or bus firm It may be wise to hire small minibus and driver for the day If you require video recording dependant on when event is One of my sons is filmmaker and if not working on set Will shoot you a professional video of wedding You could also consider background intro of the venue history with something of yourselves attached
