My wife, baby and I just came back from a wonderful stay at Braefiled while we attended a wedding at Cornhill House nearby. Caroline was attentive to our needs from the time of booking and she and her family were welcoming and friendly while we shared their beautiful home. She also serves and cooks a fabulous breakfast with their own...

If you are expecting the usual B & B, then think again! Braefield is a lovely, comfortable, country, family home with an emphasis on a warm welcome and high standards. We came from the South Coast and stayed for 6 nights using Braefield as a base for exploring The Borders. Caroline has thought of everything a guest could want. You...

Not really much I can add to all the excellent reviews that have already been posted except whole-hearted agreement. We spent just one night at Braefield last week on our way to Edinburgh. The accommodation is very well appointed, spacious, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very tasty using fresh eggs from their own chickens. The outstanding feature though was...

Our Party of three enjoyed our brief stay at Braefield. Hostess was definitely with the mostest. Nothing was any trouble. Lovely room with all amenities available especially bathroom. Breakfast was most enjoyable, with a wild selection to choose from. Would definitely recommend and return for another visit. Thanks again.

I enjoyed a very comfortable one night stay in this luxurious family home, warmly welcomed, well appointed (fab shower) and beautifully presented and cooked breakfast. Room had TV, tea / coffee and free wifi. Hit the spot in very respect - thank you Caroline and David. And what a lovely part of the countryside for a longer stay.

We all (5) enjoyed our stay at Braefield. Nothing was too much trouble and we were extremely well looked after. Breakfasts were delicious and homegrown/local. Very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. We hope to return and highly recommend.

We stayed for one night while attending a wedding near by. The Braefield is a fantastic b&b with lovely well equipped en-suite rooms. The eggs at breakfast were from the owners own hens a great touch which fits in with the beautiful countryside all around. Our hosts have all the local info such as taxis and attractions. We all really...

A room with en-suite in a private house which the owners recently built themselves awaits you in Biggar. Off a number of excellent cycle routes and with plenty of walking paths in the area, Braefield is a lovely retreat and a great place to stop on my way up to John o'Groats. My bike was securely locked away in the...

Bank Holiday weekend, along with my two cycling friends, having completed day one of our C2C challenge, we arrived at this beautiful B&B with the best welcome from Caroline and David; excellent hosts who made us feel so immediately at home after a very long day; wonderful hot showers, bath robes and tranquility, followed by the most amazing home-cooked three-course...

We stayed for one night during out Scotland Coast 2 Coast ride - arriving late and leaving early which was a real shame. A stunning B&B - pure luxury with nothing too much trouble. We felt completely pampered. The food was fantastic and the whole family made us feel very, very welcome - including helping with a puncture and trying...
