Lovely place - great location. Very modern. Very informative hosts. We met Susan and she was fantastic. Don's commumication was excellent. This really is a great place to stay in Islay. Found a new taste for Whisky! Very picturesque place. Jura is also worth a day trip.

The Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. Located on the beach with excellent views. The amenities are all within a few minutes walk, ie, shop, hotel with bar and food, bike hire, walks, ferry. The property is immaculate and extremely well presented - really well thought out. Don and Susan are fantastic hosts with great communication and information. The Lodge is immaculately clean and I would definitely stay there again. There are a good few walks to do from The Lodge and would recommend the Singing Sands and the three Whisky distilleries on a gorgeous coastal walk. The American Monument is a must to see too (in the car). Big thank you to Susan - it was a pleasure to meet you.

We have an amazing time in Islay each time we go! This was the second time we stayed at the Lodge and it’s just as hood as the first time, in fact the addition of the communal lounge it’s a very welcome addition!! We had a family game of monopoly (from the games options in the cupboard) and the kids loved it why me and my husband relaxed with a glass of G&T!! They have also brought some new additions to the breakfast menu I had the smoked salmon bagel 🥯 it was delicious We have booked for next year 🙂 cant wait to see you then 😉😉

Came in September 2019. The host was incredibly nice and sent us all sorts of useful information about the taxis, the distilleries, the local restaurants, the food, etc. Charming rooms and a great sun room for breakfast. Definitely would stay again!
