We had a perfect night's stay at Ardness B&B. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very much at home. The views are beautiful, the rooms cosy and very comfortable, and breakfast overlooking the loch was delightful. It was a pleasure to stay, and we will be sure to return!

Located just outside of Bunessan as you continue on for Fionnphort, Ardness House may be situated on the main road but it is surrounded each way by magnificent views! Car parking is available off road at the front of the house and is plenty big enough for all guests. The service we received from our host Gillian from the moment...

This is a really good value for money B&B. It has a slightly "old fashioned" feel to it (in the best sense). Gillian is a very attentive and thoughtful host and cooks an excellent breakfast! The rooms and ensuite are small but comfortable with amazing views out the window. There is also a comfortable lounge for guests. A great base...

We wanted to find a place to stay convenient to the ferry to Iona and Ardness House was certainly what we wanted!. Only three miles from the ferry, it is comfy, affordable, and relaxing. Gillian took great care of us and does all with friendly humor. Breakfast was delicious, home cooked, and they were great about serving us a little...

It is very easy to find and handy to move around the area. The accommodation is great and you can choose from staying in the main house or have your own cottage house, which we had and it was wonderful, very bright, stylish deco and spotless. In addition to that, Gillian is an amazing host and very helpful. It was...

My friend and I stayed at Ardness House for three nights. Gillian couldn't have taken better care of us. Home-cooked breakfasts with locally sourced and self-grown food every day. She gave us good advice for sightseeing. The view from the house is stunning plus it's a treat to waken to sheep bleating and cows mooing. I will definitely return.

Incredibly helpful host. Despite not originally booking with them they went out of their way following being let down by our original accommodation. Even though they were already fully booked we called by chance at 5pm and they arranged for us to have a cottage despite it being booked the following day. Can't recommend them enough, many thanks Ian.

We have just had 2 nights with Gillian at her B & B and can't praise her enough. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had a front facing room and were lucky to photograph the amazing sunset. Dinner was splendid - don't know whether to recommend the lamb chops or steak pie. She even made steak pie for...
