Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just had a wonderful weekend stay at the Isle of Mull Hotel. The foyer entrance with its stunning views was quite spectacular upon arrival. The staff were very polite, efficient and service was excellent whether it was bar service, breakfast or evening meal. The room was modern, super clean and spacious. This was our first visit and it won’t be our last as we had a wonderful stay. Thank you to all.

Magnificent service, truly fabulous food, beautiful views from plush warm mid-century modern foyer, bar and restaurant, lovely grounds and, bar none, the best hotel our dog has ever been to. Will definitely go back soon.

We visited the Isle of Mull in February and wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought more would be open that’s for sure but thankful for the amazing team at Isle of Mull Hotel! Their property was outstanding and the food & beverages were excellent! I now appreciate a lot of places close for the winter but fortunately Isle of Mull hotel doesn’t so we could stay on this beautiful stretch of Scotland!

We stayed for our anniversary, got upgraded to a beautiful deluxe sea view room which had the most beautiful views. Spa was lovely, with the outdoor hot tub and paid extra to do the mud treatment which for only £10pp was a really nice treat for an hour for us both. Lady who ran the spa wasn’t over and above to help and was really nice! Breakfast was as nice (hubby complained no beans) but all in all 5/5. We will definitely be back!

The rooms are lovely and the bar area is very cosy with great views from the big window. We didn’t use the spa because it seemed too expensive for what it was. We had dinner one night and the venison was lovely but overall quite an expensive meal for the quality. The staff were all very lovely, helpful, and welcoming.

We had a fantastic time at the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa, the highlight was the wilderness deck with its private outdoor hot tub, sauna and cosy snug as well as cracking views. A fantasic experience! Due to storms we got stuck on Mull, the staff went above and beyond to help and ensure we enjoyed our extra days.

We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and well appointed hotel. Excellent location for the ferry and in a nice setting by the sea. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. It was our second trip to this dog friendly hotel and we will return next year.

The restaurant was fabulous, and the staff were all really great! The views were beautiful and the gardens were stunning. There was plenty of parking too. We really enjoyed the food and drinks on offer. Breakfast, dinner and the bar food were all wonderful. Shoutout to the lady working behind the bar on the evening of the 16th November who was really great at giving us recommendations for somewhere to go that evening for a more chill vibe. She had red hair and an Australian/kiwi accent but we didn’t get her name. We went on like a winter escape deal which we thought was good value for two nights, dinner, fizz, breakfast, spa access. The one thing that left me a bit peeved was that the room was not tidied during the day, and a few of the glasses and mugs in the room were not cleaned properly. Also the carpet looked a bit dirty. Aside from this I really hope to return one day.
