Rocked up here after the Craignure ferry being delayed and the place was incredibly busy. Staff managed this superbly, I had my pint and had ordered food in minutes. Had cajun spiced salmon with chorizo potatoes - delicious, fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection and a bargain at £9.95. Took a cheeseboard and a port for afters as...

We arrived late on to the Isle of Mull due to a delay with ferries. We called ahead to ask about room availability and food options. Matt and his staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, even offering to cook us dinner after the restaurant had shut! We were greeted in the car park on...

A very comfortable night in the very old and authentic inn. Conveniently situated as you get off the ferry. The food was really good quality "pub grub". My husband and I both had different fish dishes and they were lovely. The room was warm and comfortable. A good start to a long weekend on the beautiful island of Mull.

We called for a meal on a chilly evening in May. There was a wood burner giving plenty of heat into the bar area. The food was excellent. Notices warned of a 30 to 40 minute waiting time for food as it is freshly cooked. Our meals came after about twenty five minutes and were delicious. The staff were very...

We stayed in the inn overnight on our island hopping adventure in Scotland. Cosy pub, cosy room - we stayed in the twin room at the back of the inn, middle of winter and it was lovely and warm. We had a meal in the evening, lovely food - none of the processed/supermarket meat but local produce and breakfast was...

Excellent value for money, tasty fresh food and hot. Friendly service and prompt. I had the chicken burger and it was a fresh chicken breast in spicy crumb, much better than a burger. The salad was fresh and varied and the chips hot and crispy. The steak and ale pie was full of meat and very flavoursome.

It's one thing to have a pub nearby, literally on the doorstep, but it needs to be able to deliver the goods. Staying on the campsite over the road we felt confident of getting a decent meal everyday of our week long holiday. A well presented good choice menu, meant peace of mind at the end of a day of...

An evening meal - with our dogs - at this friendly pub and restaurant - with excellent parking - in the centre of Craignure. (Walking distance from where the Oban - Mull ferry arrives.) Good food, good value, excellent atmosphere. We ate in the bar area (with our dogs, but no children); a famlly with children came in and were...

We stayed five minutes drive along the road in Lochdon and ate here three times and every time was a pleasure - no nonsense, delicious pub food, made with high quality local produce. The interior and atmosphere are exactly what you're after in a rural pub (it's really old, roaring fire, exposed beams, etc.) and feels utterly authentic rather than...

Everything I could wish for of an island inn. Dark & womb-like, crackling log fire, beautiful & convivial Scottish bartender. Very fresh fish & chips, massive portions. The atmosphere said it all - happy, contended diners. A serendipitous shelter from the storm lashing around us as we disembarked from the Mull ferry.
