We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaview! It was one of the best accommodations we stayed at in Scotland!! We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay, and we loved watching the highland coos hanging out on the beach across the street. We had surprisingly warm and fantastic weather in early September. John always had great suggestions of things to do on the Isle of Mull and cold water for us to drink when we returned from a day out exploring. The views all over the island are absolutely breathtaking! We also had fun and engaging conversations with other guests at breakfast. We stayed for 4 days but would have loved to stay longer, but we were off to walk the last half of the West Highland Way, which was also an incredible experience. We will definitely return to Seaview again in the future! Thanks John and Jane for being such wonderful hosts and chefs!

Wonderful spot at the end of the Isle. John is quite possibly the best host we have ever had and we highly recommend the Seaview B&B. The breakfast is so very nice with several options. John has great knowledge of the area and is a wonderful conversationalist. One windy day, he rescued us from sitting, moping, outside his B&B with nothing to do after the Ferry to Iona cancelled. He cheered us up by pointing us to a remote lovely little ruin and cemetery we may have never found on our own. All in all a lovely time. Bonus pub next door for destressing after driving!

This my second visit to Seaview this year and every bit as good as the first. From the time John welcomes you at the door to the time you leave it is most enjoyable experience. John and Jane are the perfect hosts. The rooms are very comfortable and equipped with all one requires including a wine glass and bottle opener! The breakfasts are outstanding using local produce where possible. The view from the conservatory is awesome looking onto the Isle of Iona. It is the ideal place to stay whether visiting Iona or exploring Mull. John is very informed and helpful in advising guests where to go. I look forward to my visit next year.

John was the best host. Very helpful in organizing our stay. The room was lovely, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was great, with very carefully picked local products. Above all, the location was amazing. Would recommend it in a heartbeat and cannot wait to go back.

This B&B at the very western tip of the island of Mull is the perfect spot and John is the perfect host. Situated just a three minute walk from the ferry to Iona and right next to the local restaurant/pub, the Seaview B&B has a great view of the rocky coastline (be sure to book your dinner reservations ahead of time, as there are few eating establishments in the area). John and Jane have been running the Seaview B&B for nearly 30 years and offer everything you might expect from an upper-end establishment, including coffee in your room and a full breakfast with options of omelets, eggs &haggis, or vegetarian alternatives as well as fresh fruit, cereal, toast & jam, and more. They are also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and more than willing to share their wisdom. We’ll definitely be back!

Seaview B&B had location plus with the most gorgeous sea views in Mull looking across the bay to Iona. The ferry to Iona and bus to Craignure and other parts of the island were a couple of minutes walk away from the house. There is plenty of guest parking outside in a designated parking place. Breakfasts were sumptuous and requests were taken at the table and cooked to order. The room was large with plenty of room for a three night stay. The ensuite was modern with a lovely shower. The super king bed was very comfortable with quality linen. The host even provided binoculars for guests to use in the dining room. T he host offers to do laundry, a welcome service when travelling around Britain. Another bonus is there's a restaurant next door but you need to book when you book your accommodation.

I came to Mull primarily to walk. And John picked out some fantastic walks for me. He knows deeply the place where he lives. On top of his local knowledge, he happens to be a great breakfast cook and, together, he and Jane provide a quiet, comfortable, place to sleep, rest, and rejuvenate. Quality is key at Seaview.

Thank you Kate for your lovely review. Pleased you enjoyed the walks you went on and my cooking. I don't get to do the breakfast cooking very often so delighted to hear I can still turn out a decent feed. Best wishes, John & Jane

The emails we received from John before our stay were really informative giving information on trips and places to eat and see etc. We were made to feel very welcome at Seaview and our bedroom was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower always hot. The breakfast was delicious and John was a very friendly host and always interested in what trips we were going on or what we had done. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here to friends and family. Fiona & Matthew Hunt

A super B and B in an excellent position especially for ferries to Iona or Staffa. John and Jane were the best hosts, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast had so much variety. So many extra touches and plenty of help and advice. Would thoroughly recommend.

We enjoyed 4 nights at Seaview last week. We have been visiting for many years and it always feels like our home away from home. John and Jane put so much care and thought into making Seaview the best B&B on Mull. From the delicious hearty breakfasts and packed lunches to the most comfortable beds in the world, they’ve thought of everything to make guests feel relaxed and welcome. We hope to be back again soon to spend more time in our favourite place.
