Detailed Reviews
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at Maolbhuide and felt very well looked after. A lot of consideration has been given to making guests feel comfortable. Having a separate living room and bathroom and being cooked a delicious breakfast was a complete treat. Linda is very accommodating and does all she can to make your stay special. The trip to Iona was the icing on the cake!

This B&B was perfect for the three of us. We appreciated the extra living room as well as a bedroom with enough room to sleep 3 adults, both of which were just as pictured/desrcibed. Great location near Fionnphort, with beautiful views and walks right from the front door. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. The hosts made us feel welcome, also gave us some useful tips before we arrived, and we could come and go as we pleased. We wished we had been able to stay longer then 2 nights.

We stayed a couple of nights here on a sightseeing tour of the West of Scotland. We found Tim and Linda's place no problem, after a visit to Iona.
Linda welcomed us and explained everything, then left us with plates and utensils for our picnic evening meal.
Breakfast was more than adequate and was served as ordered.
We found this was a great base for Mull, with all the comforts of home, very private for us also. We had exclusive use of the bathroom and lounge in addition to the large bedroom which meant we had more than enough room to relax.
Would recommend this as a place to stay, a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the more populous tourist areas Tobermory for example. Very very peaceful.

Linda and Tim offered a warm welcome to us when we recently visited. Linda was very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do with island and the surrounding ones Breakfast was an excellent start after a good nights sleep. Also the sitting room space was a lovely way to end the day reading. The room was a good size for the 3 of us. Would certainly stay here again

We loved our stay here! The location was ideal, the hosts were friendly, the room was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the fact that our dog could come too was a huge plus! Would highly recommend and would readily return again!

Linda and Tim are excellent, warm, welcoming hosts, offering great advice on the area and things to do. Their hospitality is super and our accommodation was spotlessly clean every day without fail. The location and views just add to the whole positive experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again without hesitation.

Had a wonderful couple of nights here at the beginning of the month. Communication was brilliant, as were the helpful directions and recommendations. Linda (and Tim) was a superb host and cooked the loveliest breakfasts! The house is in such a peaceful location set back from the road but only a mile outside Fionnphort. It was just so quiet - we both had such a good night's sleep. Spent a day going over to Iona which was beautiful too. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay here. Cannot praise it enough.Rob & Julie

I have traveled many times to Scotland.
I am in love with this land and its people.
Endless horizons and deafening silences fill me and refresh me every time I come here.
In this house, if it was ever possible to ask for something more, I found one of the best welcome you could wish for.
Linda and TIm are perfect, kind and reserved guests but at the same time caring and attentive.
I couldn’t recommend better here than all the wonderful land and sea around.
With infinite pleasure

Whilst the storm battered the island I was safely tucked up in this very welcoming and snug b&b. Linda very kindly cooked me a beautiful full Scottish breakfast at sillyoclock to make sure I got to the ferry on time. Highly recommended.

Friendly hosts we were made to feel welcome.
The B&B is within walking distance of a lovely beach and the ferry crossing to Iona (also a must see). We suggest you eat at the local Pub, we did and we were not disappointed.

Hello Bagpiper,
Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, we have a web site. Unfortunately TripAdvisor won't allow me to include a link in my reply. You should be able to find it by googling 'maolbhuidhe bed and breakfast'
We are booked for 18 August. You can see other availability on our web site. £32 per person per night (two or more nights), £4 supplement for one night only
Regards,
Tim Dawson
Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we only have vacancy for 22nd & 23rd August. You can view our vacancies on our web site. Detailed information about local buses and ferries is also available from our web site.
You can get here by public transport. You'll first need to take a bus from the airport to central Glasgow. You then either take another bus to Oban, or a train from Queen Street station. At Oban you take the ferry to Craignure on Mull. There's a bus to Fionnphort that meets some (not all) ferries, The Iona ferry runs from Fionnphort.
Our B&B is located about a mile from Fionnphort. If you were staying with us we would collect you from Fionnphort, but you'd still need to go there for your evening meal. There are no local taxis for that purpose.
Our accommodation has a shower. Exclusive use of a private bathroom a few steps down the hall from the bedroom. All on the ground floor. £32 pppn for two or more nights.
I'm sorry that doesn't fully answer your requirements. You can get further information from our web site (the link above).
Best Wishes,
Linda Dawson
