The location of this property is superb. It's in a great position for touring, there is a good restaurant and shop less than 5 minutes drive away, it's only 15 minutes drive from Tobermory and there is a pretty beach just 2 minutes walk away. The views from the cottage of the castle ruins, bay and mountains are superb. The...

Jill, First of all, many thanks for taking the time to review Cottage 3 at Aros Mains Accommodation. Firstly I would like to say that for much of the time you were at Aros Mains I was in hospital in Glasgow and my daughter and son in law were looking after my business. However if you had expressed your concerns...

We stayed at the Castle Steading, Aros Mains 7th - 14th May. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. The situation is superb near the ruins of Aros Castle with lovely woods and a shoreline walk beside the Sound of Mull. Situated north of Salen, Aros Mains is ideally situated to explore Mull with...

We stayed in Cottage 3 for a week before Easter, and although the weather was chilly and wet for most of the week, it was great to come back to the cosiness of this, bright and comfortable cottage. The setting was lovely and a great location for exploring this beautiful island. There was everything we needed and even 2 toilets!...

We stayed at Cottage no. 3 at Aros Mains Steadings for a week at the beginning of October. This was our second visit and I'm booking for next year now. Very comfortable, with a great view of the ruined castle from the living accommodation which was upstairs to get the best of the views. Maggie was great - and so...

We (my wife, her sister and me) stayed in Cottage 2 at Aros Mains in late May 2014. The cottage is down a rough track off the main road between Salen and Tobermory and is easy to reach and access. The location is convenient for all of north and central Mull and is about an hour from the ferry to...

Excellent location and lovely friendly hosts. Cottage very well equipped and warm, important when visiting in Jan.! Very close to shore where we saw the otter. Our dog loved the large selection of walks from outside the cottage. Make sure you visit Calgary Bay and Iona. The only drawback is that most of Mull is closed October to March, but...

What a delight this place is. We stayed in cottage 3, which has the living area upstairs, with stunning views over castle and across the bay. It has 2 bedrooms (one large double, and smaller twin), and 2 bathrooms. Living area spacious, clean, tv, washing machine, dishwasher, well, everything you can think of really, even an ipod and dock full...

We have just spent a week in Cottage 3 at Aros Mains. The property was a delight - warm & welcoming with a great view of the castle and bay. It had everything we could possibly need and if not we only had to ask! (We didn't need to!) It was a great 'upside down' appartment - the living area...

We stayed here in cottage 3 - perfect choice with stunning views (the lounge is on the first floor) of the loch (just 5 mins stroll from our cottage to the beach) Aros Castle (in the garden) and the mountains beyond. You couldn't ask for a more scenic view. We clocked up 360 miles during the week and enjoyed all...

We took over the apartment for a week in April, for a family group of 6 (with 1 child). We were welcomed on arrival by Maggie, who also made us some amazing scones and left us a bottle of wine! The views from the apartment are incredible - we saw seals from the window and a sea eagle flew over...
