Another stay at Argyll House. We stay in Burnside, one of the self contained apartments. Ideal for 2 people and as usual cleaned to a very high standard. A great base for exploring Mull. With The Coffee Pot downstairs. We wake to the smell of Laura's home baking. Argyll House is a must for accommodation on Mull.

We stayed at Argyll house in Burnside. Great size for two people, spotlessly clean and a great base for exploring Mull and the added bonus of the Coffee Pot downstairs, owned and run by Laura and her staff. All very friendly and welcoming. Baguettes, soup, sausage rolls and tray bakes to name a few of the culinary delights Laura makes. There’s also a Cake Box where you can purchase Laura’s cakes out of hours. What more do you need. Mmmm. I would definitely recommend Argyll House for your stay on this beautiful island. You won’t be disappointed. We are going back soon.

We had a tasty lunch from Argyll House. We had delicious homemade vegetable soup, a sausage roll and a piece of home baking. It was all a reasonable price, was good quality and we were served by friendly staff. There was a good selection of home baking and soft drinks.

We recently stayed at Argyll House, in the Ben More accommodation. Laura and her staff are so friendly and welcoming and the accommodation is spotlessly clean, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. It was so good, I will be booking again for next year. Laura's home-baked shortbread, scones and huge variety of cakes/traybakes are delicious and difficult to resist as you leave for a day out (and the cheese scones she left as a gift were wonderful after my walk!).

We stayed for a week in the Ben More Apartment (for 4) in Argyll House. Laura was the perfect host, the apartment was spotless, the linen was white and lovely, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a great base for our stay in Mull. Would highly recommend.

We arrived at Burnside an apartment within Argyll House and was met by Laura the owner. She made us feel very welcome. Upstairs Burnside was spotless and well laid out , with a good size shower room too. The room was perfect for our stay and we were able to come and go as we pleased. When went out each morning the smell of home baking was amazing so obviously we had a few take aways (due to COVID-19). Laura also gave us some home made soup and scones , delicious.. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. We have been home 2days and I can still smell home baking.

We have just returned from a two week stay in the Ben Moore apartment at Argyll House ,Salen. A lovely apartment for four with two bedrooms, a double in one room and two full size singles in the other.A kitchen/lounge with plenty of room for a party of four. All linen and towels provided. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could ask for .Hand sanitiser provided at the bottom of the stairs for use on arrival and departure every time you went in and out.I believe the apartments are being left empty for a week between guests to allow for deep cleaning during Covid. We felt totally safe with all the measures Laura has put in place for her guests. The added bonus is that you are above Laura's own tea room, the Coffee Pot.A great selection of home made cakes and treats, soups, sausage rolls etc.You can just nip downstairs and buy fresh every day or ring Laura and pre order. She will even have things ready for you early if you are planning on going out on a day trip early. A great place to both stay and eat....all run by a lovely lady who goes out of her way to help.…

We stayed in Burnside toward the end of the season, and found Argyll House, with its central location, the perfect base to explore this whole of Mull; North and South. Burnside is a studio apartment on the first floor above The Coffee Pot, and includes a private bathroom with roomy shower. The kitchen area is well equipped with oven, fridge and microwave to cook your own meals when staying on Mull. And the foldaway table and chairs perfect so as not to take up too much space. The bed was extremely comfortable with a cosy throw for added warmth. And the armchairs and cushions perfectly placed, so that, should you want to, you can watch the fold-away TV and DVD player while sitting, or relaxing in bed. The owner, Laura, has also kindly provided a library of books, DVDs, games and puzzles, so that should you want a quiet night in, or the weather force your hand, there is lots to keep you amused; to say nothing of popping downstairs to Laura's coffee shop, the Coffee Pot, for tea and homemade cake. We loved Burnside; truly a home from home - clean and comfortable. We were free to come and go as we wanted, with ample parking and facilities for washing and drying clothes, it was the perfect base from where we could explore the beautiful Isle of Mull. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Laura. …

We have recently stayed in the Burnside self catered accommodation. It was a really lovely stay. - immaculately clean and comfortably - every detail has been thought of, well equipped kitchen, a small library of local information and films, even a shed to store our bikes. - Laura was a lovey host, and the cafe downstairs looked to be really well run serving homemade food. - Salen is a great base for exploring the island, on the bus route and close to Tobermory. Many thanks for a lovely stay I would highly recommend.

A friend and I stayed in the Ben More apartment for 5 nights. It was such a great base to explore the island. The apartment was superbly equipped, clean and utterly charming. The new owner, Laura, has done a great job and made us feel so welcome. Lots of wonderful suggestions to make our stay so memorable. You must try the home cooking.... I'm very particular with my cheese scones- Laura's were the best I've tasted. Also our climbing of Ben More was even more worthwhile as we knew we were coming home to a piece of home made cake!!! Thank you Laura for making our stay so special x
