After your journey, you are assured of a warm welcome from David and Jo. The rooms are traditional and very comfortable. We definitely recommend dinner to enjoy Jo’s culinary delights. Situated above Tobermory Bay, there are great views and this a great base to explore the island. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved staying here. Our room was very comfortable and homely. The room was warm, bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The lounge areas were lovely too and had a beautiful view out to the harbour. Everything was well Organised and we felt safe with all the health and safety procedures in place. David and Jo were wonderful hosts, very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and cooked us lovely breakfasts each morning. We would love to return and stay again. Thank you! Mark and Karen

We stayed for a couple of nights. David and Jo are fantastic hosts. the hotel was very clean and we felt happy about COVID measures. We ate in one night and at the Tobermory Hotel for the other. Fresh seafood options would have kept us at the hotel for the second night. The climb from the front is steep but a local taxi is available to save your calf muscles. Jo is an amazing cook. Our diner was very good and the breakfasts were the best we have eaten - attention to detail and beautifully cooked. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Dave and Jo were very welcoming hosts and they had good Covid measures in place. Our room was sizeable with a king size bed plus a sofa and sitting area. We had access to two lounges as well as the dining room. We ate in the first night and the food was so good we decided to do the same the second night. Jo’s cooking is really outstanding, we cannot wait to go back

My partner and I stayed at the Highland cottage Hotel at the beginning of September for 3 nights and we have say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is a 5 minute walk from all the local amenities, and has a homely feel to it, with comfortable, clean and tidy rooms, we both agreed it was the best night's sleep we had in a long time, as it was so quiet. Dave and Jo were very friendly, the perfect hosts and made us feel welcome right from the start and that set the tone for our entire stay, the food on offer was 5*quality with a good selection for breakfast, and the evening meal was like nothing we had ever tasted before. Without a doubt we would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there again. Gordon and lynda.
