We stayed here for two nights as part of a road trip round Scotland. This was our most expensive hotel of the trip (unsurprising given the tourist trap that is Tobermory!), but it was arguably one of our more disappointing stays. The hotel itself is in a fab location overlooking the harbour, and our room had the most beautiful sea view. Our room was also nicely decorated, however it was quite cramped- particularly the ensuite bathroom. The grout in the shower did not look particularly clean and there was no blind for the bathroom window. Whilst I like to think that people could not see in from below, it was a bit uncomfortable using the shower and toilet knowing there was that risk! The food was delicious but again slightly overpriced due to the tourist trap. A few things for the hotel to work on, but not a terrible stay by any means.

Staff were accommodating. However hotel is somewhat tired and not worth the money. We had a super king room overlooking the harbour. Room was a good size but small ensuite shower. The toilet and sink were relatively new but the shower tray was in need of replacement. It was off colour, marked and the inside handle was hanging off. Also the cleanliness of the grout was somewhat to be desired. The shower itself was electric and had a mind of its own. Housekeeping was poor. The mirror in the bathroom and toilet weren’t cleaned, the hospitality tray and tissues were not refilled, waste bin wasn’t emptied. Restaurant expensive.

The food is poor and very expensive for what you get. The staff are very unhelpful and so not treat you as valued guests. Apart from that the hotel is in a good location. It’s such a shame that you as a guest and customer are treated in such an unfriendly, taken for granted way and the food is so expensive and so poor.

This hotel has a lovely location, and the bar area is nice with the thick stone walls. We paid £180 for a top floor “suite”. What constitutes a “suite”? It was a bedroom, barely suited to a dwarf. It was an obstacle course, basically a room built in to the roof where there was no space for a room! The dust was horrendous, especially on the black velvet headboard, yuk. To be fair though it would be extremely difficult to clean that room properly, you have to walk around bent in half. Ig is dangerous and a health hazard. Breakfast was extremely poor, watery coffee, and no hot food for vegetarians. Shocking value for money. We left early

A fabulous hotel in Tobermory. Had a 3 night stay and have to say it was superb. The "suite" was a tad small but hey ho it was more than adequate. Staff were brilliant but the food - oh the food was stunning. I have never experienced a menu so good as this and nearly all of it was Gluten Free. Choice was superb and the quality was to die for. Breakfast was so fresh and tasty and the staff all went out of their way to make you comfortable and welcome. Cant wait to go back. Thanks
