We only stayed for one night. The couple running it were very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a bathroom and it was not large, but was very pleasant. The view out the window faced the road and was incredible. There did seem to be a trick to turning on the hot water though as my sister didnt figure... More

My wife and I stayed at this small hotel/B&B during a trip to Skye. There is a bar and restaurant on the Ground floor and two floors of rooms above. The rooms that face the road, which ours did, have a great view of the bay. Our room had a bathroom but for other rooms a bathroom is shared. The... More

This is not a great hotel. The plumbing on the third floor reminded me of a third world hotel - so noisy it was unbelievable, shower didn't drain properly and the bathroom was the size of a closet. The food in the restaurant was marginal and the wine selection was non-existent. I would not recommend this hotel other than for... More

Hi, thankyou for your review. Our first reaction was to have this removed as we had no one called "Gardenlad" staying here. It is courteous to let people know who you are rather than hiding behind nsome ridiculous nickname. Practically Not using a name means we cannot go back to the tour company you were with to discuss your concerns... More

Went in to eat solo and enjoyed the choice of upto date magazines while I waited for the meal. The smoked salmon which is caught locally and smoked by the owner was amazing. There was far too much so sadly I left some.. the chips we crispy and fresh and the salad was perfect. Excellent value for money and very... More

Stayed here for one night on our way back from HebCelt Festival. Arrived about 8pm, I had booked 2 single rooms. Often single rooms are small and not always the best; however, the single rooms here are a decent size with a view across the bay (which would have been better if it wasn't raining)! The shower was a good... More

I would strongly suggest travelers to avoid this hotel. We checked in on 2 July for the night as part of the Highland experience package tour of Scotland. We were put in room 4 which had a musty smell and right next to the place where the hotel washing room was. The owners without bothering had put it on the... More
