This is one of the best, if not best air b&b’s we have stayed at. We were two families holidaying for the first time in the Isle of Skye and having Luib House as our base made the trip, perfect. Clean, comfortable, spacious with everything we needed. The views from every room were amazing and the hosts were accommodating, friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Luib is a great spot from which to explore Skye, particularly if you want some peace and quiet, away from the throng at Portree. Thank you Gary & Iona for a fantastic stay!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 days and wanted to travel across most of Skye and see all the major highlights. The accommodation was modern, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location with most of our locations only a 30 minute drive away. The bedrooms all face out across the sea so whatever room you choose you wake up to a stunning sea view. There is a huge lounge area as well as a large kitchen/dining area perfect for larger families. Excellent WiFi throughout the whole property.

Marilyn made the 4 of us very welcome for our stay on our first visit to Skye. Rooms were very comfortable and you have the use of a lounge as well to relax. Very clean and Marilyn cooks you a personalised breakfast to order. For the evening meal we went to Creelers back in Broadford. Do not be put off by the outside looks the food is fab with loads of seafood choice and meat and veg options. If you want to save money or cook your own food choices then Marilyn has a guest kitchen area you can use. Great views across the water.

Really lovely B&B. We stayed two nights and were in the downstairs double room, just off the dining area. The room was really nicely decorated with a very comfortable double bed and a toilet/shower room just outside the door for our exclusive use. The shower was so good, and easy to operate. Marilyn (our hostess) books breakfast slots for her guests a minimum of 15 minutes apart to enable her to make a full cooked breakfast for each guest. The breakfast is a big affair, (cereal, fruit juice, cooked full English, toast) that sets you up for a full day of island exploration. The views are quite spectacular, and the B&B is really quiet, even though it's situated pretty much right on the main road through Skye. In the evening we sat in the dining area, used the cooker to heat through our pizza, and shared a bottle of wine over a chat. In the morning we made up a large flask of coffee using the kettle in the bedroom and set off shortly after breakfast for a day of exploring. Marilyn herself was lovely, so welcoming and uplifting, and she gave us a few pointers for some photographic spots that are off the usual radar and, therefore, less busy (e.g. less well known fairy pools. The B&B is well placed for visiting the whole island and close enough to Broadford to make it easy enough to nip along to the Spar for more pizza! Overall, a great break away in an excellent B&B. Thanks Marilyn.

Unfortunately we stayed just for one night - 3 friends in the Family room. The room is spacious and lovely furnished, clean and friendly. Marilyn is a perfect host, she gave us a really warm welcome and prepared a delicous breakfast. For my next trip to Skye i will definately book at Luib House again.

Myself and two friends booked the family room for a long weekend. I must say a brilliant room was comfy beds and lovely views from the windows. The room was clean and bright. Marilyn was so lovely, really fun and chatty. A full English breakfast was served everyday which was wonderfully presented. Distance from the bridge was around 20 mins. Fantastic scenic journey all the way from Inverness Airport. The rooms are very close together so you have to keep the noise low. There is a living room on the 2nd floor which is lovely and bright. There is a small kitchenette where you can prepare lunch or meals. There is a co-op about 10mins away in Broadfield. I would definately recommend a stay here.

My wife and I stayed here for one night as part of a tour of Scotland. Marilyn, our host, was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Very professional and the breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable with a large sitting room to use, which we had to ourselves. Good advice about the area and the weather.

Marilyn is a person that makes you feel comfortable in 5 seconds! She is extrovert, chatty and funny. Her house has an excellent views to the ocean. The room was big, quiet and comfortable, excellent hot shower. WiFi was included but it didn't work fine as it's satellite. If you have the room in the ground floor you may hear the footsteps of guest in the 1st floor but I slept like a log.

My partner and I recently spent two nights here at the luib house. We had a great and comfortable stay. Easy to find and ample parking. Marilyn the owner was very friendly and made the stay really enjoyable. The breakfast was particularly tasty and filling and kept us going well into the day. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Skye. Thanks again from Rachael and Alan.
